I love LDG. They are the best. I look forward to going there every year. Even on my worst days, I still go to class, & my mood is always 100% better. It is so much fun there. I have been there for 10 years now, & I will never change studios. The recital this year was absolutely amazing. I had a wonderful time!

We have been a part of the LDG "family" for a while and have finally decided its time to move on. This is a good place for little kids but not for students who want to learn harder dances and more complicated techniques. Some teachers are good and others that have been there for a while seem to be in a rut. There are clear student favorites and the place seems to be very unorganized and the teachers unprepared. Lots of kids seem to like it here but many parents are dissatisfied with the classes. Effort seems to be with the new families but very little is done to retain the loyal people who used to come back year after year. We will miss LDG but its time to find a more challenging curriculum for our daughters.

I love Llainas, and I have since the minute I started. Llaina will bend over backwards even on her worst days to make sure you get what you ask for and that your child is accommodated. I have been dancing here for 7 years and the day I leave will be a sad one. Every time I walk in I am greeted with a smile and a friendly atmosphere. The teachers are all very considerate and patient, even on their worst days. The tumbling program is one of my favorites, and the competition team is like a family, greeting every new child with open arms. The office staff is one of the best and immediately greet you when you come in. I could go on for hours about this place, which is now my second home. LDG has changed my life and impacted me in such a positive way, and the lessons I learned here are ones that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

We just finished our first recital there and I was impressed. My daughter took a combination class of tap and tumbling (only the tap performs in recital until they are out of combo class) I enjoyed the show, it was done in 2 hours and all ages and levels performed. The class sizes are nice, we watched another local recital that had over 40 students on stage at one time, so this was a good size not too big, not too small. We had a great year and will be back next year!

We just finished our first AND LAST dance recital at this dance studio. It was terribly unorganized, the OWNER was no where to be found 15 minutes before the show and children were running around unsupervised all over. I don't know if parents were not instructed to stay with their children or if they just didn't care but it was chaotic from start to finish. Certain teachers throughout the year seemed to be more inclined to spend their time out of the classroom than teaching my child and it showed at recital. If you want a dance studio that gives a mediocre effort to your child then this is the place for you.

We just finished the year at Llaina's Dance Studio. My daughter has had a good learning experience there, all the teachers and assistants seemed to be patient and caring towards the students. I like that the studio is a first name basis and I am allowed to stay in the studio and wait while my child takes dance (though not allowed to stay in the actual room) The year end performance was optional. Every class gets a chance to perform in the show including the 2 yr old classes which was my daughters class - She didn't do much tapping due to stage fright but I appreciate the positive reinforcement she received all year. Worth checking out if your looking for something for your child to try

Llaina's is an excellent studio. I have been a part of it for the past 5 years now and to see the studio and students grow each year is amazing. Students are nurtured and taken care of, if they have problems they know that their teachers are there to listen. My daughter is on the tumbling team and in the year she has been a part of it she has gained so much confidence and improved skill wise. The studio is anything from dirty or smelly as others have said below, there are Scentsy pots filling the waiting room air, the teachers wipe down the mats every night as well as mop and more (as I have found out when struggling to get my daughter to leave after team practice). The assistants are talented and full of experience in cheerleading, musical theater, step team, tumbling, and dance and have inspired the students of the gym to do the same. Llaina is very flexible and willing to work with families to meet the needs of their children or help out with any problems. She also encourages her students to get involved in the community through Salvation Army bell ringing, donating to benefits, and having a Relay for Life team. I couldn't imagine being at any other studio! Thank you Llaina! Just check out their website and you will see the reasons we love LDG.

All three of my children attend Llaina's Dance & Gym and they LOVE IT!! The staff has always been so loving, encouraging, optimistic, and ready to help in any way. My youngest is physically challenged. Everyone there has been so wonderful with her. She learns so much and loves her teachers! In addition, the price is unbeatable and the recital is a blast! I enroll my children at Llaina's because not only do they have a great experience in dance instruction, they get positive guidance and encouragement without the pressure! This year, my kids want to take even more dance classes at Llaina's!

I started bringing my daughter to LDG when she was a very shy and uncoordinated 2 1/2-year-old. My daughter is still shy, but she loves everything about being at Llaina's and wants to take every class they offer. She has even joined the tumbling team and her skills have improved dramatically.I am happy that my daughter is learning to dance and tumble well, but I am even happier about the great atmosphere at Llaina's. All the staff members are encouraging and work well with children. Everyone is treated with respect and kindness.

Its a great gym! Both of my daughters have attended and we absolutely love the laid back atmosphere. If you want something rigorous this is not the gym for you. If you want your children to have fun and learn, this is the place. Llaina and her staff know every child's name and always addresses the kids when they arrive. She has had students with disabilities and treats those kids just like any other student she has. The parents are always welcome at the gym (unlike some other gyms in town). Try it out for yourself - the door is always open.

My daughter is currently enrolled at Llaina's Dance and Gym. We have been to one other gym in Jacksonville (it was ok, not bad - not great) this gym isn't a gem in disguise or pumping out olympic gymnastics it is simply a gym. Chaotic, crazy and yes sometimes even (gasp) loud!!! But what I observe every week when I drop my daughter off at her class is enough to keep me coming back! Any time I have seen the owner of this studio address a child, she lowers her voice to a soothing tone and bends down to their level. I have seen her solve more than a handful of childhood "dramas" (where most teachers would simply throw in the towel and say they didn't have time for these types of problems). I like that I can sit in the waiting room and hear laughter from the children and encourgement from the teachers - this is what keeps me coming back! * KUDOS *

My daughter loves Llaina's because the staff is kind and considerate and they are compassionate and above all, caring. I have seen Sara's Studio and the teachers don't even know the names of the children. I have been inside Steven's Studio and watched teachers actually belittle children because they made mistakes. Childhood should be FUN - not a stressful chaotic mess! These are extracurricular activitities - not the Olympics! My daughter thoroughly enjoys her time at Llaina's and would never switch to another gym. You folks who are complaining so loudly need to step on down the road and see if the grass is any greener somewhere else!

I just came from the dance recital after having spend time at my own daughters recital the previous weekend. I will say that it APPEARED that the children were all having fun and knew what they were doing. I could see all the kids on stage (which was more than I could say for my own daughters class of 36 at her recital) - I called the studio to check on classes and was immediately called back. We will be making the switch, I would rather see my child smiling onstage and enjoying herself then me fighting to get her to class!

These classes are overcrowded. they teach too many kids at once and then at recital they take 3 classes and combine them. you'll have 40 kids on stage at once and not be able to see your kid. LLAINA and all the teachers have favorite students and they are the kids in the front row at recital. classes always start late and end early. the studio is filthy and theres alot of disorganization. you'll pay for services or items that you'll never receive. sometimes somthings one price and a different price the next. horrible and worthless! dont waste your money!

As a former student of Llainas Dance and Gym I have nothing but kind words to say about this studio. I was a member of the competition team for six years and did dance for 8 years and had it not been for an injury I would continue to go. The staff at the studio are so kind and friendly and when you walk in its a family atmosphere. You know that you are cared about and with such small classes you are guaranteed one on one attention. There is an end of the year recital you can participate in if you want to and yes costumes can be expensive, but the staff at Llainas understand that and always look for the best deal. If I could go back in time I wouldn't change my decision to go to Llainas for the world. I gained friendships to last a lifetime, confidence, and exceptional dance and tumbling skills. I strongly suggest Llainas Dance and Gym as a studio to go to!

My daughter was enrolled in this studio last year and absolutely loved it. Their new facility is pretty cool and the staff is considerate and caring toward EACH student. There is a good teacher to student ratio, even the small classes have assistants! It seems their focus is more on "fun" learning but it works - my daughter loved her classes there! This is a must try for any parent considering dance! Isn't costly compared to any other studio in town and a plus their recital is optional!

Pros - Great staff, fun enviornment,

My daughter went here for 2 years. She took gymnastics. The teachers were nice an she liked it very well. She did learn quite a bit. They let you pay by the month. They charge you a flat fee every month always the same and you can make up a class you miss, but they wont credit you any money. They have a progam in May so you can see what your child has learned. You have to get a outfit for this that cost between $50-$80. Is a very friendly, downhome atsmospere. If you like your shild can enter into competitions with chilren form other places and win trophys and ribbons. This is pretty exspensive.

PROS: nice teachers, friendly, fun
CONS: cost quit a bit
