small office is great, but outdated equipment missed why my husband was having teeth pain
he complained and their x-rays showed nothing
but went to a place that had digital x-rays and it spotted the problem right away
even though my husband went in 2 times a year he had a filling issue that caused an infection and he needed 2 root canals done, if he waited he would have had to pull both teeth
since the root canals no pain and we continued with the new doc
the newer equipment can catch problems earlier so don't have to have a deep cavity filled but they use an air system (sorry not sure the name) that you don't even need shots to fix the caught early cavity

if we had this new dentist, the problem could have been caught earlier and wouldn't need the high cost of a root canal done.
we haven't been back to see him since early 2008 so if he gets newer equipment I would just rate him fair
just not as comfortable there as I am with our new dentist
