I followed Anna from another salon - she is the most outstanding hair stylist I have ever had. I have never before continuously visited the same stylist for so long. In addition to her talent, she is genuinely warm and very focused on her client and her clients taste and lifestyle. I never leave the salon without making another appointment! Ambra salon is beautiful! Bright, friendly, and really a pleasure to visit. It really was a delightful surprise. Congratulations Ambra and on your lovely salon and having both Anna & Mada with you. In addition to being truly skilled, they are both special people.

I have been with Michelle for 2 years, she just moved to Ambra from another salon and I of course followed her there! Two years ago, I came to Michelle in an emergency when someone had dyed my blonde hair chocolate brown! She performed magic that day and continues to do so every time I see her. She literally does the best haircut I have EVER had in my life. I've lived in most major cities in America, including NYC, Miami, and Houston, and never have I had a better haircut. I do not even have to style my hair, I can let it airdry or just use a paddlebrush with the hairdryer... and the layers fall so perfectly. It's truly shocking. I get so many compliments on my hair and it is all due to Michelle's skills. :)

My color is always great. She is very good at mixing it up and doing it a shade darker in the winter time (which makes it last longer and saves me money). Michelle is super professional and ensures that you are treated accordingly by all of the staff. She is also not the type to make you talk to her the entire time. I can mellow out without feeling obligated to carry a conversation with her. On the flipside, she is easy to talk to and we always have a laugh.

Basically, Michelle is amazing. I am happy with her switch to Ambra. It is an awesome space, super mod/urban. It's more spacious and a better layout than her last salon, and Ambra offers a ton of exciting serivces. I am going in for my first massage next week so I'll let you know how it goes!

Everyone was so polite & professional. Staff made you feel welcome. Not a snooty or stuffy establishment. Very clean. Massage was wonderful & relaxing. Pedicure Spa was the best! Loved the wine & strawberries. Will definitely go back.

My friend told me about this place. it is very nice inside. i got a hot stone massage which was completely amazing. i really recommend this place. very good.

My boyfriend got me a gift card from here. i got a massage and it was okay. the place is really nice and clean. the massage was really good and the lady was nice.

You need to go here!! Jerrdann is the guy you need to go to for a cut, style and color. I've NEVER been happy when I've left a salon until Jerrdann started doing my hair. I have naturally curly hair and he does a fantastic job.

Jerrdann is by far the most exceptional stylist who has always done my hair exactly how I wanted. Due to his talent, I actually feel comfortable just letting him cut and color however he thinks necessary with no questions asked. He has also been very accommodating as far as my schedule goes. I would recommend his outstanding service to anyone who is looking for an extraordinary hair stylist. He has been mine for about 7 years and let me tell you, I live about 500 miles away now, but I still have Jerrdann do my hair.

I got my haircut and highlighted at Ambra and couldn't be happier. I've tried numerous salons throughout Chicago and now I am actually staying with this one! When you make an appointment request Jerrdann - he was able to make my hair look like another person's! My hair has always been unmanageable (frizzy, curly, the works) but he cut and colored it in a way that transformed my hair! Loved it! 5 Stars! :)

Never in my life have I liked my hair after having it cut and colored until I went to Jerrdann at Ambra Salon & Spa...I have long hair and want to keep it that way, which is exactly what he did. The highlights turned out beautiful as well. I'm seriously the pickiest person ever when it comes to hair and am soo happy to have finally discovered a stylist that I can trust with my hair. The salon itself is great--really trendy but still comfortable. So if you're really particular about your hair and want to finally find someone who know's what they're doing, then go to Jerrdann @ Ambra Salon, you won't be disappointed!!

I had the no chip manicure done at a salon downtown, Ambra
I did not want to have it done but my girlfriend would not shut up about it.
It has truly changed my life and that of all my friends. I have gone up to 4 weeks with no chipping at all.

try Zuzana at Ambra Spa on State and Superior.
Amazing!!

First of all, the salon is beautiful and love the modern clean style! I have long asian hair and I agree with the other review that Jerrdann does great layering with long hair. I love to keep my hair length long and its hard to find a hairdresser who can keep my hair long, but Jerrdann can keep the length!! I loved loved my hair and I am definitely coming back !

I got my hair done at Ambra salon and spa by a hot straight male hair stylist named Jerrdann they said that he specialized in long hair and highlighting. i have to say i was very pleased with the end result, I walked out feeling like a vitoria secret model!!!! he was really great about explaining wat he thought would look good on me and he didn't cut my length like i asked he loves long hair so your safe if your trying to grow out your hair.

Heard about this from Zuzana the manicurist at Ambra... decided to try it. It is fantastic it lasted about a month and looked amazing everyday
when you are so busy it is tough to get your nails done weekly I am so thrilled I tried it.
THE BEST!!!!! Check it out you will love it!!!

I received a gift certificate for a facial at the Ambra European Day Spa and was very pleased with the service. When I left, I picked up a menu of services and plan on going back for something else.

I came to Ambra for a Brazilian and I was so scared b/c I didn't know what to expect since it's not the usual place I go to. Luckily, Dianka did a wonderful job. She kept me at ease thoughout, kept the pain to a minimum, and was done in less than 15 minutes! The bast wax I've gotten! I'll definitely be back.

This is an excellent facility!! The staff is european trained and it shows. It is not just a facial. It is a facial completed under the direction of someone who really knows about skin and skin problems. I travel from the suburbs passing up many other faciilities and it is well worth it.

I went to almost all possible spas in Chicago area and I have not anywhere experienced better service than at Ambra. The estheticians are highly experienced and great at what they do. Ambras facials are the best in the whole Chicago land area.If you decide to have a brazilian wax, you almost won't feel a thing, you will be surprised how painless a brazilian wax can be. I highly recommend this place.

Had a facial and message. Not bad. Comfortable atmosphere. If you are looking for ultra rtizy and plush-this is not it. Loved the strawberries and champagne after the services. Might go back.
