Just GO! Being a native Texan I was craving fried chicken. After some research on the web I stumbled across Edna's and had to try it for myself. Seriously I felt transported back to Sunday afternoon lunch at my grandmothers...the fried chicken and fried okra were to die for...not to mention the mashed potatoes and cornbread dressing...and don't forget the biscuits! Def a carb fest I enjoyed. My friend had the ribs and said they were great. I will def be returning. Don't worry about the location, everyone was very nice.

Pros: True southern food, can I get an AMEN!

An easy to find down-home soul food jewel close to Garfield Conservatory. Great food and good portions. Friendly family atmosphere. Edna adds her own personality welcoming locals and strangers alike. We were there on Sunday afternoon and Edna's was obviously the after-church place to be. The ribs were excellent and don't miss the fried okra.
