At first, I was skeptical about BMS RV. I had heard numerous bad reviews online and didn't want to give it a try. My wife was the one who talked me into it, and THANK GOD she did. The owners, Brian and Sean Bransky, are very helpful and friendly. They weren't pushy at all. They showed us a very wide selection of RVs, everything from a small Navion to the hulking Ellipse. Quality. Service. Low prices. All words to describe Barrington Motor Sales RV.
After we had purchased our motorhome, we ran into a problem. We had nowhere to put it. It took up 90% of the space in our driveway. On the contrary, we had bought one of the larger motor homes available (a Georgetown), but we still couldn't even get our car out of the garage. So I called up Sean and asked him if there's any way I could exchange for a smaller RV. We didn't have to. They offer storage! You can store your motorhome at the shop for as long as you want.
In my opinion, Barrington Motor Sales is the best RV center around. If you want quality, service, low prices, and overall, satisfaction, go for the gold with BMS.

We bought our 2011 Georgetown 378 motorhome one year ago. Can you believe we??ve never received a call from Barrington??s to see how things are going? We bought our MH from one of the two-brother owners, Bryan Bransky. We had a few issues that needed to be taken care but to this day they are not resolved. It feels like Mr. Bransky waits you out long enough hoping the problems will go away.

Our situation is a little different in that we are from Vancouver, BC and we were on vacation in the Chicago area. We were looking to buy a motorhome so we decided to look around when we were there and came across Barrington??s. My wife and I felt comfortable in dealing with Mr. Bransky. So much so, that we decided to buy our motorhome from them. We flew back to pick it up and drive it home once it arrived from the factory.

Certain things were factory ordered but later it was determined Forest River could not provide them so other goods to replace the factory options were agreed upon. One option was a rear wheel rock guard. It was installed incorrectly and had to be replaced at our expense. Mr. Bransky agreed to compensate us but to date we??ve never received anything. He claimed the money would have to come from his own personal pocket rather than the dealership. This made us feel very awkward and played on our sympathies so we told him we didn??t want to accept his personal money and that it should come from the dealership. We probably should have taken the money. What were we thinking?

As well, the unit is supposed to have a trim kit attached to the bathroom door which was missing when the coach arrived. After many emails and promises made by Mr. Bransky assuring us ??he would make sure the trim kit would be sent to us? we still, one year later, don??t have the it and again no calls from him to advise us of the status. Another unfulfilled promise. What??s important here is not so much about what is or isn??t happening nor the value of the improvements lost but rather, it??s the principal of the matter that when you are told (particularly by an owner) that they will attend to issues and they don??t then we feel cheated and lied to.

After many emails and discussions with Mr. Bransky and particularly after him claiming as he put it ??he dropped the ball? it??s hard to believe he still has not properly addressed the problems! Therefore, we??d say it??s reasonable to suggest he??s not a man of his word. Or, at least he hasn??t been in our case. The problems feel magnified because we are so far away and really unable to force the issue by driving down to dealership and insisting Mr. Bransky live us to his promises. We certainly feel taken advantage of.

Mr. Bransky is very charming and friendly but don??t let that fool you. Don??t let the prominently displayed Winnebago trophies in their office held for prominent dealers fool you either. These trophies are given to nearly all dealers based on sales volumes and have nothing to do with customer service or satisfaction.

Our experience has left us with the impression that once the sale is done and money in hand you are simply another transaction/profit center and, if you live out of the immediate service area, the better because that plays right into the dealerships hands for even better profitability. They know you won??t be driving back to deal with things. Mr. Bransky wore us out and we decided this wasn??t worth the aggravation anymore so we simply have moved on? and won??t be back! All this so easily could have been remedied.

You are better safe than sorry ?? don??t?? take a chance with Barrington Motors, Bartlett, Illinois. There are many other dealers that, hopefully, live up to their reputation and word.
