Before contacting AutoMetro I had not been behind the wheel for 6 months so I badly needed to brush up my driving skills and to regain my lost confidence.
Damian Koziel,the instructor, showed up on time to give me my first lesson and before the first session was over,I felt relaxed with Damian helping me build my confidence while teaching the finer points and skills of driving on busy Chicago roads.
I had 6 hours of behind the wheel training before taking the road test.
I found Damian to be extremely professional and highly trained instructor and the fine points he taught me I could never have learnt from a friend.
Before going in for the road test,Damian,the instructor,also gave me a hard practice session for the exam and I thought I would be a real dud if I failed the test still.
The result of the hard training was that when the actual driver's exam started I found it to be relatively easier with the end result that I passed the exam on the first attempt and walked out with a shiny plastic card,a prized possession for everyone I guess.
Damian:I am highly grateful and thank you so much for providing me the much required training.I enjoyed all the training sessions in your company.
To all those reading this review and still undecided about which school to go to,I highly recommend AutoMetro and if Mr.Damian Koziel happens to be your instructor,you don't need to worry at all.He will train you really well.

I owe many thanks to Auto Metro. I had the instructor Damian Koziel for the 9 hr package and Road Test. This was a fantastic investment because I will be driving for the rest of my life and because of Damian, I will be driving with confidence and security. His attitude was calm and relaxed and he really concentrated on making sure I was aware of everything on the road and driving defensively. He was a great teacher and went above and beyond basic driving instruction. I took lessons in winter, when every day was a hazardous road condition (icy, sleet, snow, rain). His instruction made all the difference so I feel comfortable driving in a Chicago winter...in downtown! I have my license with the first try, and even the DMV instructor said "great job" and made positive remarks about Auto Metro. I am very happy with this company, and highly recommend it.

I highly recommend this school for evreybody who is getting ready to take driving test. This school provides excellent service,best instructors and whats more important - as a result - you pass the test.

I'm VERY impress with this driving school. My instructor Robert was SO polite and SO paitent with me. He took the time and made sure that I did everything right. I thought I would be nervous but he made me feel relax. Robert is the BEST teacher. I finally feel confident when I'm driving. This school is worth it! I recommend this school to everyone and I also recommend Robert. THANK YOU ROBERT and THANK YOU AUTO METRO DRIVING SCHOOL.

My experience with this driving school was excellent. Robert is an amazing instructor. He gives you all the good tips for the safest driving practices. Prior to signing up for the 9 hour package, I had driven with very impatient family members. I need someone who would not yell at me and make me nervous while I was driving. Driving with family members was definitely not a good learning environment for me. Robert was very patient, he talks you through everything. I felt very comfortable and was able to breeze through learning how to drive. I passed the driving test today with ease. I was very nervous because the instructor at the DMV had mentioned that he/she had failed everyone that day. I was a very nervous driver to the point where I felt like I was going to throw up when thinking of getting behind the wheel of a car. If I can pass the driving test on the first try I know I was taught very well, anyone who drives with Autometro will get the best.

I failed the road test two times before deciding to go with Auto Metro. When I started the lesson, I was still nervous and not driving very well. By the end, I was more confident than I had ever been . I give a lot of credit to my instructor, Robert who was really helpful and positive the whole time. I am very , very-very happy I Pass

Have driven before coming to the States but needed to brush up to take the test here. Took 1 class first,my instructor was Damien. He came and picked me up, great instruction; patient, pleasant , clear direction. Then a few days later took the test and because I also don't have a car used one of the Metro Cars. It was a compact so not too difficult to park ( important for the test) and on the way to the Test Centre I got a warm up lesson. At the Center Damien or the instructor makes sure that you know where to go and what forms need to be filled in etc. Taking the test can be a little stressful but these guys make it as easy as possible. Highly Recommend.

Very good experience: I recommend the 9 hours package, It was a great idea to take lessons before the road test. I had been with a different driving school before I found Auto Metro Driving School and had failed the road test, so the fact that I got my licence here on my first try is amazing! I had a very good experience.

Highly Recommended! I was extremely pleased with my past experience with Auto Metro. From very helpful dispatchers to my patient intructor. They built up my confidence behind the wheel of the car. They are best.

I took my driving lesson with this driving school and I can't tell you how happy I am...First they will evaluate you and tell you your weak point and will work on you with that.They make you very relax and make the lesson easy and give you a lot of pointers and technique on how to handle the situation.I'm very satisfied and happy and by the way I passed my road test right away and I was so relax the whole time of the road test.

I had my lesson with Robert.Very good experience, good communication, great patients,Been driving for a while and just needed one lesson for a check up and passed my drivers the first time.

They are not cheap, but my selection did prove that you get what you pay for.Robert was my instructor and that guy could probably teach my dogs to drive. He is one of the top 3 most comprehensive instructors I have ever experienced. I strongly recommend this school to anyone looking for a positive, no stress, individually-focused experience.

My experience was not so good with the driving instructor, i found him very discouraging, and through out the session i was sort of under pressure, i didnt enjoy the session not was it a learning experience.

I had an okay experience with them. The instructor I had wasn't very friendly or understanding about my problems driving but it wasn't THAT bad. I went to a better school that was a little cheaper than what Auto Metro was asking for. Overall, it's okay but I think there are better schools that don't ask for that much $$$.

When we first came to Chicago my husband took driving classes from this school.He really liked the teaching and communication.The nature of instructor was very nice.My husband said that the person knew lots about traffic rules,cars and law also.My husband learned driving in very short time ans pass the test only in first attempt.Now he is driving the car for couple of years and haven't got a single ticket yet.I will say the driving school is good.

I decided to write this review because I would like to share my experience with this school to everyone.I had my Learners Permit for two years before I decided to call driving school to schedule my first driving lesson ( I was very nervous even to call). When I went thru three different driving schools, I started thinking Am I stupid or my instructors are incompetent because i couldn't learn anything at all and again decided to change school. When I found Auto Metro my dream about driving came thru. My driving instructor was so patient with me like nobody else in the past. We went thru everything to become safe driver on the road, he showed me how to behave on the road even when everybody else gave up on me and guess what - after couple lessons I passed my driving test with smile on my face because I never felt so good in my whole life. Thank You so much for everything You did to me to feel good about myself again.
This is really the best school in the industy.

I could learn to drive with so much fun! The instructor was patient and explaned me how to drive with humour. No hidden price, always on time to pick up. If you look for a driving school, I definitey recomend this one!

After failing two times in the past with other schools, Auto Metro was the one that finally came through.I felt that I was very well prepared for the driving test. Robert and Damian are the best teachers ever. They are very nice, friendly .I would recommend to everyone I know.

AutoMetro Driving School is great for teens and adults. The price is about average and you do have to sign up ahead of time to start class with the other students in time. The instructors are helpful and patient.
