Price is right, food is OK, idea WAS good. Looks like a ""hippy"" place - little DIRTY - suppose to be cozy. The wait staff is rude and pushy. The line at the door and nobody in. Place feels like a ""loud"" DAY CARE. My friend and I didn't stay long after salads, coffee and latte, it was impossible to have conversation; staff was loud, babies crying, food on the floor,... For sure is place just for moms. Over all Oak Park need place like Buzz - loud, dirty and mommies - Baby Friendly.

The Buzz Cafe is a wonderful coffee house and restaurant located in Oak Park's art district. The atmosphere is everything I enjoy in a coffee house. Walls covered with art by local artists, families, friends and students sharing meals and studying. The menu offers many vegetarian and organic options and the food is excellent. My favorite sandwich is the California Turkey and for breakfast the breakfast burrito. The coffee is unbeatable and the service is fast and friendly.

The Buzz is an important part of the Oak Park community and is a wonderful place to go for a strong cup of Chicago brewed Metropolis coffee, a friendly atmosphere, delicious & healthy food, great service and a fun time. Prices are reasonable, you will be paying for the best quality and supporting local business. It is located conveniently off the Austin stop on the blue line in a great Oak Park Neighborhood.

The self-proclaimed buzz at this nook has as much to do with coffee as the setting and likeable, organic-minded menu. Is it funky? Yep. Filled with moms with kids in tow? Without a doubt. The foundation of the menu is coffee (and tea), but…
