Solid eatery. Biryani and Chicken vendaloo are just two of the great choices. Lunch specials are great - just as much food butt cheaper. Get it.

They recently opened a new location on First St, 398-8400, quality is consistent with the Green St location. Better ambiance and they also have a lunch buffet.

Don't bother wasting your hard earned cash at Basmati unless you are looking for that special "date" environment, Bombay has them beat when it comes to consistent food quality and price. I've had better Indian food, but this comes close to the top and the price is reasonable, the service fast. As with most Indian restaurants, though, watch out if you are vegan - very few of the vegetarian dishes are dairy free, although there are one or two, make sure to ask. I love the vegetable biriyani and the portions are so large, it's easily two meals. Dining in is a little cramped so if you don't like being shoulder to shoulder with strangers, you may want to do this one take out.
