Dr. Wahl and his staff are amazing. I never question picking up the phone even just to ask a question. I have been taking my furry little kids to him since moving here years ago, and my Grandmother took her pets to him for years before she passed. The only negative experience I had there was with the woman veterinarian. I am not sure if she even works there anymore, but she was very rude and condescending to me. I would stop going there if Dr. Wahl retired. He is truly amazing.
Dr. Wahl and his staff are very knowledgeable and caring. The prices are very reasonable -- you're not paying for a lot of frills or a big, fancy office. His office hours are very convenient. I love the way he greets our pets by name, creating a friendly atmosphere for the animals.
I've been doing Gryhd rescue for over 16yrs. As the adoption cordinator for Regap (Retired Gryhds As Pets) I've never seen or dealt with a more professional, knowledgeable Vet. Dr Wahl has spayed/neutered over 2000 gryhds for us. He keeps his prices to the bare minium to help our wonderful Gryhds. Every person that I've sent his way, has NOTHING but the best to say about he and his staff. I travel 2 hours for his services. Well worth the ride!!! He has a new Laser Treatment for older animals that is Incredible! Check him out. He is the Best!!! I Love Dr Wahl!!!

I just started at Avenue and I was impressed! My dog had blood in her urine, when I called, they assure me that if the price reached beyond what I could afford immedialtely, they would work out a pymt option for me, that was a huge relief. They did not rake me here and they were very pleasant and they explained everything to me. I will go no where else! I rate this place a 10+
Dr. Wahl was great! We put our old dog to sleep at their facility and they were more than understanding! We just got a new puppy who broke his arm and had surgery. Dr. Wahl was sympathetic towards the money we already spent and charged us a cheaper rate one day for a follow-up visit. Nothing but good to say about this Vet.
Unfortunately I do not have the same feelings as everyone else. i took both of my dogs to get spay/neutered and my female ended up in the emergency room the following day because her stomach tissue was hanging outside of her stomach and my male dog had to be brought in because his sutures had released too soon and had to be brought back again as well! i do not believe anyone should have to go through that much and on top of it my pets should not have had to go through any of this eather
We have been taking our greyhounds to see Dr. Wahl at Avenue Animal Hospital for some time now. The staff is gentle and caring and the prices are very affordable as opposed to some other vets that we have used in the past. What is especially important to us, is that Dr. Wahl specializes in greyhounds, who have a different chemistry level than other breeds. He works extensively with REGAP, the rescue group for greyhounds.
I agree that the doctor and staff here are very gentle and compassionate. I brought a stray cat in for spaying last year (I had never owned a cat before), and they took excellent care of her! I was impressed that they kept the cat Avenue to watch her for a couple of days following the surgery, and we didn't end up with an enormous vet bill.
The doctor and staff are wonderful and caring. The atmosphere at Avenue is more like a home than a vet, which is extremely calming to our dogs, who usually fear the vet. When our dog was very ill, they were extremely compassionate and caring during that difficult time.
