The grounds are beautiful. It's so quiet and peaceful. The staff is great! I lived there for more than 10 years. I bought a house, but when my daughter was old enough to move out, she moved back, because she considered it "home." Very good experience!

I've lived at Country Fair for one year and am ready to move. I love my apartment just not my location. My apartment is spacious with ample storage but I live next to section 8 apartments. Now that it is Spring, I have been seeing more and more strange characters, which makes me leery of being too close to the ghetto. I see cadillacs on 20" rims blaring rap music at all hours. My neighbors are great except for one woman who doesn't believe in using a leash for her medium sized dog that likes to jump on people. My maintenance requests have been "lost" on more than one occassion, with management actually getting upset at my husband for not remembering which woman supossedly wrote the maintenance report. Many of the maintenance men look a little....leery. Not the kind I would feel comfortable bringing into my home. The ladies in the office are less than friendly and lazy. I am anxious to see the outcome of the new "Service with a Smile" moto.

Country Fair is a nice place to live, if you're in that price range ($400-$600/month) and don't mind it's relative distance from campus. For the three years we lived there, we were perfectly happy. If something went wrong, there were always maintenance men there to fix it, even in the middle of the night. Routine maintenance is good, with pest control and lighting being checked every couple of months or so. It is well-landscaped, plentiful in parking spaces and vlose to a shopping mall with anything you'd ever need. It suited us very well until we moved up from apartment to house. I say it is very adequate because there is nothing spectacular about it. It has everything a large apartment complex should have: a small pool, free parking, good maintenance. But the staff were not overly friendly, merely functional. And the apartments are clean and spacious for the price but overly impressive. A few steps up from studio campus apartments but not luxurious.

PROS: Good maintenance, good value for the price, free parking
CONS: Office staff cold

The shortage of this community is it is far away from the campus (15 min driving time. Sure it will be longer if you take a bus.) However, it does have some small parks for children to play around. The price is fair and maintanence is good. But they have only unfurnished apt. The parking is free for everyone so it is convenient if you want to have a party occasionally. Your friends don't need to worry about the parking spaces. There are many supermarkets around.
