While their services are good like the threading, and the people who actually provide the services can be nice the front desk staff is always been very rude and condescending. I have been here a few times and have had this same experience each time. I think Nail Bar is losing its touch, not as clean anymore and the cutomer service is flat out terrible except for the threader that did my brows.

I was lucky enough to get a manicure/pedicure with Reed. He used to work over at the Southport location and today was his first day on Broadway. Lucky me! He gave me a great pedicure that was so relaxing he almost put me to sleep (the awesome pedicure chairs help because they have massage options that actually massage vs. some salons that just have vibrating chairs). He was very thorough and got my feet soft even though I am on them all day long. My manicure was great too. I managed to drop my CTA card on the sidewalk as soon as I left, and when I picked it up, my polish was still perfect! That never happens (I am excellent at ruining manicures), so I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend Reed and I'll be back to see him again soon.

Pros: Reed, great mani/pedi, promptly seen

Cons: front desk greeter on Sundays - a little brisk with customers

I've never had my nails done here, but the waxing technician Saadia is an expert. She always has me in and out very quickly and with as little pain as possible. And the prices are comparable (if not a little cheaper) than what you'd pay at other places.

The clientele and technicians at this nail salon are both high end. I feel underdressed when I stop by not looking cute and perfectly groomed! The screens on either side of the nail stations are great for privacy, but the place as a whole is pretty tiny. The prices are very high - you can get an equally good manicure/set of tips elsewhere for less.

PROS: sort of snobby, overpriced
CONS: cute privacy screens, lots of magazines to browse through

Don't necessarily look for a lot of conversation from your waxing technician here, but do look forward to a professional experience. I dropped by once at 9:15 pm hoping to book a bikini wax for the next week, and I got to go in right then! Their manicures are good, though a little on the pricy side--though their "MANicure" is a cheap option if you're not wax-crazy. Their eyebrow waxes are good, too, and they launched the Chicago Nails Opi line. A great place!

PROS: Easy to get in, professional
CONS: Not much chatting
