Costello Sandwich & Sides

Costello's is basically your typical neighborhood sandwhich joint, but the twist is they offer a variety of side dishes to go with your sandwich. They offer several nice variations of vegetarian sandwiches, with sprouts, cucumbers, humus, and the like, but what spoils it for me is their below-par bread. To me, it basically tastes like it comes straight out of a bag from the grocery store. I usually appreciate a more gourmet sandwich bread. However, they offer both baked and unbaked subs and have a huge selection of sandwiches, and their sides do stand out: mashed potatoes, spicy mac and cheese, potato salad, as well as standards like chips and pretzles. Costello's is an easy place to stop in and enjoy a quick sandwich!
