A few months ago I signed my second lease with Sally. I have had nothing but a positive experience with her. I find Sally to be honest, straightforward, and reliable. I have only had minor problems with the house, but on those occasions Sally has remedied the problem immediately. Additionally, Sally has assisted me on matters outside the boundaries of the lease, such as finding affordable service providers (landscaper, etc.). Being relatively new to town, I have appreciated her assistance in these matters. Because of frequent moves, I have rented in several cities for almost 20 years now. As a result, I have dealt with many landlords. In my experience, Sally ranks at the top of the list.

just read a review about sally that i highly disagree with,, maybe that person should look inside herself to realize what the real problem is,,
we have been renting with sally for 8 years, and as long as we continue to rent , it will always be with one of sally's properties. she is extremely helpful, honest, and extremely on the ball when it comes to any issues with any of the properties we have been in. SALLY YOUR THE BEST !

we have been renting with sally for 8 years, and as long as we continue to rent , it will always be with one of sally's properties. she is extremely helpful, honest, and extremely on the ball when it comes to any issues with any of the properties we have been in. SALLY YOUR THE BEST !

Sally is horrible to work with. My husband and I have been renting a property from her for 2 years now, that my father owns. My husband does all the minor work that needs done, plus the lawn care, snow removal, gutter cleaning, tree trimming and what not. Well we had an issue with the hardware that turns out bath tub on not working. I called Sally to tell her at 4pm on a Monday and her response to me was "it's not my job to go out at 4 on a Monday and get this for you" Wow what a horrible landlord. Good thing our heat didnt go out becase we would have froze to death because its not her job to do anything but get paid 9% off every rental she has. She sucks!!! BEWARE Do Not put yourself through the pain.

Sure, she is very friendly and kind and helpful while you are trying to find a place to live, but lease from her then move out. Advice, READ THE FINE PRINT IN YOUR LEASE!!! She will nickel and dime you to death and it's all legal. I rented from her for five years. Did repairs on the house myself, did not charge her, put up a fence and a shed in the backyard, did not charge her. And when I moved out and left the place in excellent condition, there were Sewer fees of $160 and sublease fees of $230, and I even found and advertised for the sublet myself.

Busy woman to get ahold of ~ but WOW does she know her stuff! Her assistant is great at making sure someone gets back to you, whether its Sally herself or her assistant Heather. How they manage over 100 properties with it just being the two of them and still make sure your move in goes GREAT and any problems are taken care of within 24 hrs I dont know - but they do it!

Thank you for making our move here so easy and for those that can't get her to call back ~ just keep trying ~ and when you meet her and she shows you properties ~ and how much time she gives you personally ~ then you'll understand why it takes a few days or weeks for her to get back to you ~ just remember its just her and her assistant and THATS it ~ its like a family~

I have tried to view MULTIPLE listings over the past 6 months and NOT once have I gotten a return call...Wonder if the people that hire her know she does NOT return calls!?

I even left a pretty stern message last week about not sure why she has NOT returned my calls, whether she doesn't like the sound of my voice or just doesn't want to rent to me for some reason (have NEVER mnet the women) I asked in the message if someone else in the office could assist me as there were several houses I would like to see...and that if I STILL did not get a call back I would try and reach her Manager to complain...

STILL NO CALL...

So during my quest to find housing, when I see it's managed by Property Management People, I just skip past it!

GREAT JOB SALLY!! you do your clients a wonderful service! I would have rented 2 Condo's in Savoy, 1 house in Urbana and 1 condo SummerSage, had you JUST RETURNED MY CALL!!!

**UPDATE** By the time we moved out, it was nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone and to get anything looked at/fixed at the house. I got the feeling they had taken on many more properties and were spread very thin, perhaps too thin. AND to top it off, we got $10 back from our security deposit! But sadly I think that's just the way things go in this town, don't expect your deposit back.

Sally is so nice! She manages properties owned by individuals so you get very individual service. We rent a house and love it! She is a very busy person though and can be hard to get ahold of. But she checks her cel phone messages regularly and has always gotten back to me about important things the same day. She also calls professionals for all repairs and we have had great service from them in our basement as well as in our bathroom. The house is so well-taken care of and you can tell she really checks out who she rents to. When we first started looking for a house to rent, she took us to several different houses and took great care explaining the differences and finding out which house really fit what we were looking for.

PROS: Very friendly, very helpful during initial walk-throughs, very good service
CONS: Most properties not exactly budget options, hard to get on the phone
