5 Stars: Best pan-asian food in Chicagoland (by nicole m.)

I'm pretty sure most Chicagoans agree that this restaurant is fantastic! They have so many options here and reasonable prices. They also make great bubble tea drinks...the almond milk tea is my favorite. This location is pretty cramped, but totally worth it.

4 Stars: One of My Favorite Places to go for Bubble Tea (by Songie L.)

Although I've never had a meal there, I've gone many, many times solely for their bubble teas. They make it out of fresh fruit instead of powder like the other bubble tea cafes closer to home. My friends and I will drive half an hour for their bubble teas!

However, like many popular restaurants, Joy Yees is always packed, so it might not be the best place to go if you're in a hurry - even to grab just a drink. And if you plan to dine there, then reservations are a must.

PROS: Tasty Bubble Tea - Made from fresh fruit!!
CONS: More often than not, full.

5 Stars: Great Bubble tea and authentic asian food! (by Wendy L.)

The dishes that the foods are creatively arranged. For example, the pineapple fried rice is placed in a hollow pineapple shell. The beef teriyaki on baked rice is on a wooden basket. The fruit bubble teas are also a must-get! You can mix a wide assortment of fruit flavors together. They use fresh fruit to make the bubble teas so the flavor is not artificial. They give you big portions for a reasonable price.

5 Stars: THE Place for Bubble Tea!!! (by Jason C.)

Joy Yees Noodles is THE premier place around to get bubble tea (tapioca). The menu is a bit lengthy, too many choices, but you HAVE to get the drinks. They have locations in Chinatown and Naperville as well.

4 Stars: good food (by Julie P.)

Good food, great drinks. That just says it all there. Their bubble teas are out of this world with all sorts of fruit and combinations. Their food is delicious, but the ambience and the crowdedness of the restaurant is a definite downside. Other than that, this is a place that I do visit regularly. Keep up the good work!
