.

I went in looking for St. John's Wort (if you know what these supplements are for, this is probably funny) and found they were having a 50% off sale on a specific brand of supplements. They had bright red/fucsia stickers on them as well as tags beneath each row proclaiming their reduced pricing. So I picked up a bottle and walked to purchase them. The woman whom rung them up was flippant and adolescent and frankly just annoying. She said, "That'll be $12.99." So, I made her aware of the 50% off. She didn't have the price on the computer, therefore I was incorrect. I walked over to the eisle and brought the tag below the row to the front. She said, "It says there has to be a sticker ON the actual vitamins. Sorry." So I say, "Not all the items on sale that are identical and marked have stickers on them. There's really no hard and fast rule for your assumption." She called the manager, who walked over with me. I think my deductive reasoning skills were too advanced for her and she filppantly said, "I'm sorry, this is not on sale, it's 1000 miligrams." Then placed the sticker I gave her that was under that row onto a completely different row of vitamins completely unrelated to the sale. I was so pissed at that point. She was just holding out because she was wrong and what little tiny authority she had in the world was being challenged by simple deduction. Finally I just said, "Not all the items on sale have stickers and they are of the same number of miligrams and the same type of supplement or vitamin. Even if the sticker isn't on them, the tag is listed below the item."
She finally concurred and gave them to me for 5.99. Nearly 20 minutes later. Ha!

PROS: rude, unreasonable customer service
CONS: good sales on supplements and vitamins
