Shoplifters welcome, coupon users watched like criminals. This has been my experience. The last 2 visits I made to walgreens has been under the watchful eye of a short brunnette employee who has reported back to the manager about how many coupon items that I have in my cart. During checkout tonight, the heavy female manager asked my daughter what she does with the Bayer glucose mointors that she was purchaisng and when the daughter replied that she gives them to a relative the manager reponded with 'oh come on what do you really do with them---- calling her a liar! Then proceeded to tell her and I that we should be careful about buying their meters because their ' loss prevention is watching us.' I told her that they could watch whatver they pleased, that buying a product that is free after coupons is not a crime. While she was busy scrutinizing us, a couple who were both wearing long trench coats left the store and the security systen alarmed, they responded that 'we didnt buy anything- we were just looking and the alarm just goes off sometimes.' She tells them to just go, who imo was probably shoplifting, while grilling us like we were thieves.
I would not suggest that any coupon users ever visit this store.

This is a nice, large clean walgreen store. They are more expensive than the larger department stores but they often offer good sales in their weekly ad and their monthly rebate programs. The only problem with this is that they are often out of the sale items by the first day of the sale and sometimes they dont get the item back in until after the sale is over. The workers are friendly and helpful. The parking situation is good and the pharmacy workers are helpful and nice.
