A week ago I would have rated this hospital with 3 to 4 stars because the Physical Therapy here is very good. However, my elderly father, who is paralyzed on one side and wheelchair bound, fell in the shower and required 8 stitches in his head and arm. How does this happen? Sheer neglect can be the only answer. I feel that the nurses and CNA's are overworked and this was extremely evident during my father's stay. Also, I was not impressed with the staff doctor AT ALL. He kept putting off treatment that might have helped with my father's recovery stating that "He didn't have time.," or he was "too busy, I'll try to get to it next week." Huh? In stroke recovery time is of the essence. Unless you can be with your loved ones all day, every day, I would not recommend this facility.
We were impressed with very experienced therapists for our toddler. They were well-trained and very caring. They often would work through their lunch break if our child was progressing so well during their session. Very impressive pediatrics doctor with nation recognition for her work. Highly recommend for pediatrics!

We have unfortunately and unexpectedly had a poor experience with our child's OT and PT. We were assigned young, inexperienced therapists to our child, who has extremely complicated medical issues. This was probably what has set her up for not achieving their preset goals. Unfortunately they have lacked the insight to change their approach or ask for help. As a result nothing positive has come out of it for our daughter. I would recommend making sure that your child is assigned to a therapist that matches their needs.

This is a fairly large rehabilitation center run by the Franciscan Sisters that keeps expanding. The physical and occupational therapists are very good at what they do. They are really focused and give attention to each and every patient. There is also a cafeteria for the patients with a menu that they can pick and choose from. The only downside it some of the staffing, assistants...they don't seem too attentive and bright as far as assisting and recognizing problems.
PROS: Great physical therapists
CONS: Staff isn't that attentive
