A Urban Handyman

I had a great experience with Urban Handyman and will definitely use Chris again. He can do anything! I had a list of many different things that needed to get fixed in my condo and I procrastinated for a while because I was unsure who to call. He did a myriad of things for me ranging from fixing an expensive light fixture, installing a garbage disposal, and some other work in my bathrooms. He also comes very well equipped with parts and materials so there is no delay in completing the job or need to run to the store. I was especially grateful that he found one of my sink pipes was rotted out - and he had the replacement in his truck. He works very fast and very professional. Totally satisfied.

With so many great reviews, I had high hopes for this guy. What an all-around disappointment. I could copy and paste the "won't work with again" review as my own, that is how I felt although that review is more flattering. Would not use again.

I have used Chris twice. His work is good, price is fair. He gives helpful suggestions how better to do what was originally planned or thought of. I would not hesitate to use Chris in the future.

I used UH several times. Chris is very knowledgeable and provided great problem solving solutions for various projects, including electrical, carpentry and plumbing. He is very efficient and works quickly which makes his prices very reasonable. I would definitely use him again.

I have used Chris a number of times for jobs I couldn't do myself and have also highly recommended him to many people, including a couple of my condo building neighbors. It can be a bit nerve-racking making recommendations to people you have to live next to---especially when one is well-known for being demanding and difficult!--but both of them made a point of letting me know how very pleased they were with not just the work, but with Chris' professionalism in general. It's so good to know a handyman you can rely on when there are so many who prefer to cut corners in the hope you won't notice.

Chris is incredibly reliable, does quality work and always charged a fair price. He was always friendly, always cleaned up and was willing to discuss various options. In addition, no job is too small but he is able to take on larger projects as well. I highly recommend The Urban Handyman for simple repairs or larger home improvement projects.

I always call Chris first when I need anything done. He is consistently good with advice,charges a fair price, and best of all he is honest.He is a family guy who understands about schedule changes and is willing to work with you.I have never had a handyman who arrives on time, cleans up and just overall a nice guy like Chris. I always recommend him and will continue to do so.

The Urban Handyman (Chris) uninstalled a light fixture and gave us advice about whether or not to install a closet in a bedroom. Regarding the closet, he gave us a thorough picture of the options, and recommended not going forward with it. A recommendation like that from someone who could have gained from our ignorance really proves that he is a great person and a great handyman.

I would strongly recommend him for any household project.

I have used Urban 3x, and each time was a good experience. Chris can understand many building issues, and is honest with a solution, resolution, and compleition. Urban's prices are fair, I will use them again.

I've used Urban Handyman for projecrts both large and small and I'd use them again. Chris is the first person I call when I need anything done around the house that I can't handle myself. He's reliable and friendly and his rates are super-reasonable. I look forward to working with UH again and would highly recommend this busines.

I have used them 2x. The first time, they did a good job and was pleased enough to call them again on another job. The 2nd time, not at all. They misrepresented the work they were to do and what they charged for it. The amount they charged for a very simple project was outrageous, and they refused to work with me on the price even a little or even acknowledge that he barely did anything for the money. I will not work with them again.

I highly recommend The Urban Handyman!!! I have used the Urban Handyman for several years and continue to call him for my home repair needs.

The repair work is completed as if he is working on his own home. His pricing is very fair and reasonable. He is also very honest and will not take on a job unless he is competent to complete it properly.

There are also a couple of other little things that in my opinion mean a lot. He is on time, clean, and does not smoke, or talk on the cell phone while on the job. He is very professional and his work is always completed in that manner.

Chris is a very friendly and knowledgeable handyman that helped me out with an appliance issue that I had as well as an issue I had with one of my interior doors. His rates are fair and reasonable, and I plan to use him again in the future!
