Amato Hair Design

I have been going to amato for a couple of years. Whenever i go there i make sure i dont leave without making another appoitmenet with Nedaa, who does amazing facials and body waxes!. I was readin the Southtown Star paper, sunday on April 6th 2008, and happened to realize i saw Nedaa's name the esthetician that i go to and she was being interviewed for her job and they had really good reviews, i was very happy becasue i knew that obviously i was going to a person that knows what she does and loves it.She is always booked and busy and is good at everything with no pain wether it is waxing, from brazilian to eyebrow, even underarm and no pain once so ever!..Or what i love the most is the facials not only for my face but i get chemical peel done for my back which has improved alot from acne! And also for my face microdermabrasion! and hot stone massages they are so soothing and relaxing, and ive noticed a big diference in my skin and my face, and not only is it from the facials but staying updated with always using the products that i bought from her!

I have been coming to amato for about a year now, to nedaa for facials and waxing, she will sit with you and explain what she is doing step by step and takes her time with you so she could get it perfect, i have seen wonderful results from the facials and products that i use.Nedaa is very easy to get along with and respectful.Also a very clean person and salon. Whenever i walk in and out i get greeted with the upper most respect the people are great and friendly and know what they are doing! I do recomend amato, if you want a clean, beautiful, friendly salon or spa service!

I have been going to Vivian at Amato in Tinley for the past 6 years and I love my hair more each time I get it done. My stylist always has new ideas for me so I don't ever have the chance to get bored. I love how she takes the time to sit down and talk to me before she starts my hair. It makes me feel like she is really hearing me and not rushing me. We look at pictures and she gives me ideas. She even takes notes about what we are doing that day- I love it! She also goes to classes all the time so she has lots of ideas for me about the latest trends. My stylist and one of the other girls just went to New York and got this big Redken color certification from the Redken school so this just shows the level of knowledge these girls have. I love all the Reken products too. I am obsessed with this velvet gelatine I get there. It smells sooooo good and makes my hair style so much better when I blowdry. That's another great thing about the salon. All the girls take the time to actually teach you how to do the whole round brush thing. My hair looks almost as good when I do it as when she does now. I also have to say how friendly everyone is. Stephanie and Amanda at the front desk seem like old friends to me- always smiling and offering to get you magazines and french vanilla cappucino as soon as you sit down. The other girls are super friendly too and I love how these girls dress! They inspire me to look cute from head to toe!

My wife has been coming to Amato for a couple years now and just loves it. Several months ago she made an appointment for me as well. I'll never go anywhere else now. This place is great! All the people are friendly and very helpful with styles, products and advice. Renee takes great pride in her work and always manages to suggest the perfect look for my wife. Even though my haircuts are not nearly as involved as my wife's, Renee always takes the time to make sure I'm happy with the finished cut. I would highly recommend this salon for anyone.

I've been going to Amato for a couple years for pretty much everything, hair, color, nails, eyebrows... In my life I've gone to many many places to get my hair done and spent everything from $10 to $100 for a haircut, by far, Amato is the best. The service is outstanding, Stephanie at the front is a doll, she takes the time to know the customers and treats them like friends, its very refreshing in a world where customer service is so lacking. Renee has been my stylist since I've been going there and I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She takes the time to truly understand what I want to do (and suggests great techniques when I have no real idea what I want to do), She knows my personality enough to be able to suggest great cuts and colors and I'm always beyond impressed and happy at her talent and professionalism. I trust her wholeheartedly. Both Renee and the salon has been great at working around my crazy schedule and she has stayed later than her usual shift to take my appointments. Everywhere I go I get compliments on my color and cut. The salon itself is great, I also buy the products and I would highly recommend their makeup line, which I haven't seen anywhere else. The eyeshadows go on smooth (and again, Renee has helped me pick out colors that work with my complexion and I have never been disappointed). Amato is constantly doing things, like promotions and offering videos and tons of magazines for their guests. Customer service is obviously something they are truly concerned with and they have delivered for me each and ever time. For the reviewer that complained about the price, there's a haircuttery in the same strip mall, if you want to look like you've gotten a $5 haircut, go there. If you want awesome service, stylists that truly care about you and your happiness, the best products and a salon that goes above and beyond, $29 is not only a good price but truly affordable. Amato is the best and I'll be a customer for life.
