This place is an awesome neighborhood bar. It offers great food and great drink deals. Friday and Saturday nights are packed, with mid 20's aged people. A great place to go if you are looking for a low key night out.

This is a sports bar with some great food. They have wonderful salads, which is sounds funny for a bar but they really are delicious. They also have great appetizers from the pretezls, to the mini sliders to the mac and cheese bites that are so good! They usually have some sort of food and drink specials each night if you are on a budget. During the day and dinner is a mix of people, later in the evening it is a much younger crowd.

Pros: Mac & Cheese Bites, Yummy Salads, Drink & Food Specials Every Night

Cons: Can be a young crowd.

I used to love Schoolyard, but that was before I started to regularly get charged for more than what I ordered. The first couple times I chalked it up to busy nights or bad bartenders. However, my limits were finally tested when I was charge almost $60 for about $30 in drinks. I brought this up to the bartenders attention. It was then that the manager (from off to the side) mouthed off to me. I tried to explain what happened, but he kept talking down to me including asking me "what do you want me to do to make you go away?" and then saying "i'll give you twenty bucks to shut up". one of the bouncers actually had to hold him back. it was absurd. i have never experienced such poor service in my life.

Schoolyard has become one of my favorite hang outs. Great crowd, friendly staff, relaxed environment. I was also excited to see that they now have outside seating for the summer. They have great food too - I would suggest the chicken tortilla soup, rueben rolls, and if you have room for dessert go for the skillet cookie. Great wrigleyville bar.

This comfortable bar and restaurant features a tap up front and tables in a fireplace-outfitted back room. While it doesn't wow in the food department, it delivers on what you'd want and expect from the watering hole setting. The food is…
