Cahokia High School

Cahokia is another low-income school near St. Louis that has grown too quickly; students here are typically not college-bound and are typically from low-income homes. Teachers are exhausted from fighting daily battles of students not getting along and simply not trying in their courses. If a student shows a desire to excel, I know the staff will take the time to help them succeed....but without some initiative on the student's part, chances are he or she will simply do the bare minimum and be pushed very little.
