4 Stars: Tre Kronor is a little Sweden in Chicago. (by Dionna P.)

The eggs are good, the potatoes are even better and the roast beef sandwich with mushrooms is so tasty. The staff is super friendly and the coffee is better than the chain down the street(4bucks).

4 Stars: Charming and a good value (by Michael N.)

Tre Kronor has some of the flakiest and most delicious pastries I have ever had. I didn't know much about Swedish cuisine before we started coming here but I like trying new things and they are always really encouraging and informative. I think last time I went I had a bread called limpa (not sure on spelling) that was very good and an very tasty omelette. The restaurant is a converted house so it has quite a bit of old world charm.

4 Stars: Overlooked Swedish food gem (by Kristina L.)

While most tourists flock to the better-known Ann Sathers Swedish restaurant a mile west on Clark Street, this West Andersonville gem is worth seeking out. Prices are reasonable and food is superb. Creative dishes and nice traditional Swedish decor in this rennovated home with two stories for dining. Swedish favorites like pancakes with lingonberries, potato and veal sausages are complimented by innovative specials.

PROS: Delicious food, great Atmosphere
CONS: Street parking limited

5 Stars: awsome little restaurant (by Pauline L.)

This little swedish restaurant in the northwest side is fabulous! the food is very good, it's not too expensive and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable.
if you go there try the eggs benedicts, one of my favorites ! but if you go on sundays be prepared to wait : it gets really crowded.
