I love the food here. the food is really good and i love Mexican food. the place is very nice and clean. i think people should really check this place out.

Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants in the city. The food is excellent and cheap, and the place has a real earthy feel to it, which enhances the experience. The service is a little hit or miss but I still love this place.

Nuevo Leon has some street cred as a really cheap, really great place in Pilsen that many yuppy a-holes deign to venture south of roosevelt AND west of ashland to try out. Oh my!

Problem is, the food is just as good as any other place in Pilsen, which is to say pretty good. But it's nothing to plan a whole night around, which is the mistake many make. There's also no reason to line up all the way to the sidewalk for a table. These places a dime a dozen in Pilsen.
