Army & Lou's Restaurant is a nice family southern style restaurant. Good service and pretty good food. This is a good restaurant to go to if you have a group of people.

I would recommend this place for small group gatherings maybe 3-5 poeple looking for soul food , the service is nice and the so is the atmosphere. some poeple say but it is on the south side yes it is . It would be what you call a dimond in the ruff

I don't know where else you can get braised oxtail (Saturdays only), and it is excellent here. Parking is pretty good. As far as service, when I have eaten here alone they served me really fast, which would usually be considered a good thing, but it was basically too fast, like they wanted to get me out of there.
