My first mistake: going to an Americanized Thai place for Japanese food. The gyoza was deep fried, not pan seared as it should be, and the ramen was overflowing with mediocre noodles and random bits of sprouts and pickled bamboo all mixed in. Now, I can understand that the people making the ramen have probably never actually seen a bowl of Japanese ramen, but c'mont, can't you give me something? Some mushrooms, a decent broth, something that stands out and would make me want to order the dish again? Nope. No can do. I left feeling disappointed and mad at myself for getting my hopes up.</p> <p>Aside from that bad experience, I did eat there one other time and ordered Thai food. It was pretty good. The Thai coffee was also delicious.
