Good food, friendly and attentive staff and large selection of beers. Comfortable with sports decorum a large bar. Bar, booth and open table seating available. Small bar so can get crowded during some of the events they hold. Draws in patrons from as far as downtown Chicago. Has that small local feel that keeps the local crowd coming back.

Absolutely horrible! The staff is completely rude and disrespectful to customers. Out of all the places in Naperville this would be the very last place I would ever go!

I love going here to watch the game on Sunday with the free popcorn and a huge bowl of chili. The atmosphere is a typical local pub. Great location, the only problem is that theres really no close parking. Other than that, this is a great place.

I have been living in Naperville for about six years and when I first moved I spoke with numerous people about--Where I should go at night, No kidding every response was downtown Naperville and the Lantern bar and grill. To this day after obviously visiting others I still go the Lantern at least three times a week. No! I do not have a drinking problem, I really do enjoy the food and the atmosphere, It kind of reminds me of "Cheers".

Talking about one of the hotspots in downtown Naperville---WOW!It is most definitely a spot that welcomes their clientele and a staff that is definitely qualified to provide a good time. Everything that you would expect in great bar. Excellent food, service, and a laid back atmosphere. Not to mention the fact that the food is the best I have ever had from any bar, but the prices of food and drinks are very affordable to go there a few times a week....Please don't raise them! I enjoy going there as much as I can and every time is a good time. When I enjoy too many drinks, I don't need to worry about driving because they must have---15 cabs parked and rotating right outside the front door. The corner where the Lantern is sparks the best and busiest nightlife of Naperville.

I love this bar. It's my kind of place. No but really, in the hectic downtown naperville scene, this is my favorite place to pull up chairs iwth friends and enjoy reasonably priced drinks. You can usually grab a booth and it's never too overcrowded. The music is good, the atmosphere is laid back, and it's the perfect place if you're looking to chat over cocktails

In Short
Not known for the club scene, this 1966 favorite is still serving up cold beers and good food. A wooden bar dominates the narrow room, lending intimacy to the space. Comfy booths greet regulars at the entrance, while…
