This bar used to have very friendly women bartending. I can not believe the personality behind the bar now. They decided to hire two gay guys to bar tend. I believe one of them is named Justin or Dustin and the other is John. I was disgusted by there arrogants and really got pissed when I notice they serve there friends first. If I were management I would be concerned.

This is a decent local watering hole, as for beer and shots, anyone can get them anywhere, this place does not stand out in that capacity. They have one bartender who is wonderful, yet who I think is the manager as well - Lisa?.
The real reason to go here is purely for their wings and HOMEMADE chips and salsa. These are two items that are unprecedented and in all the years of searching for good goodies, especially in a bar, they've nailed it head on.
The bar itself tends to be a bit "clique-y". The karaoke guy is not so friendly and seems to play some favortism. So for a newbie in the locale, getting song 1 up was no problem, but not being a "great" singer posed difficulty in getting any other songs up even on a slow night. This was confirmed by a local and regular patron of the bar that stated the karaoke guy has favorites. This creates a bit of a problem in being fair to review the place upon hearing such information.
And so...is the review...wings & chips & salsa 10 thumbs up, karaoke, less than desirable based on favortism. Room for improvement.

Pros: Wings, Chips & Salsa
Cons: Clique-y, Karaoke
The Tapper is a great local bar, with a lot of regulars. It mainly plays country or rock, but sometimes throws a dance song or two in the mix. You won't find a friendlier group of people. They have Karaoke every Friday and Saturday, and get quite a few people that can actually sing! Besides that the DJ is awesome, and the bartenders even better. It normally gets pretty crowed, and they can be a rowdy group, but for the most part are harmless.

Mad Tapper has absolutely the BEST HOT WINGS around!
The remainder of the menu too is certainly worth a mention. If you stop in, make sure you try out their homemade chips and salsa, and catch them on a steak night every other Saturday night 6 p.m. sharp!!!!
The owner Jerry, definitely knows how to make a bar kitchen work. He's got the best recipes and help.
For entertainment, there is a big screen t.v., 2 pool tables, 2 dart boards, and an outdoor beer garden, and plenty of parking.
But again, make sure you check out those wings. Especially on Wednesday's which is the official wing night!!!!
