We've been with the practice too since they opened and we have multiple children with them. We switch back and forth between all three doctors, as they each have their pros and cons.

Dr. Jan (Dr krakora-looby) is not only straight-forward and "all-business", but she also tends to be condescending (even my friend who takes their children there eagerly agreed with me about Dr. Jan being condescending). If you describe something you're doing at home (example, if your 2 year old child sleeps in your bed), she'll slap your hand and tell you a hundred reasons why that's wrong but it's a non-issue to us. However, with issues that are important to us, she's told us not to worry about them when other medical professionals have advised us to "look into" it. Dr. Jan is almost moody....you can catch her on good days when she'll be really friendly, but then you REALLY know when she's having a bad day. A doctor should stay consistent in my opinion. A while back it was hard getting a referral from her to a specialist that we needed. She also tends to be on the conservative side....even with diagnosing ear infections and prescribing antibiotics.

Dr. Fireman has been great at times but he's mostly been very rushed. That's why we quit gong to him unless he's the only one available. I'm sure he know his stuff and he's not afraid to refer. He's cut me off on the phone and in-person in mid-sentence. That REALLY bothers me when a doc won't listen to your concerns. I've been told that he's all about money.

Dr. Forsey is unconfident. She has a great bedside manner with the kids, but she always tells us how Dr. Jan would do this or Dr. Jan would do that. She always compares herself to Dr. Jan and has admitted that she's not as smart as Dr Jan. One time, she misdiagnosed our daughter and said she had appendicitis, when actually it was pneumonia. The ER docs thought Dr. Forsey was crazy. She has also cut me off on the phone and during appts. She'll spend time talking about stuff that's not useful to us (something that we already know) and then she cuts us off when it's our turn to talk. My friend also said that she gets too personal with her own life to parents. Could be good or bad, I guess. I also believe she's moody. Sometimes she's all-business and tries to act "tough" like she set a goal for herself that day and then the next time she comes in on the "weaker side" and starts chit-chatting with you. Inconsisent. I wouldn't go to her for a complicated case or take new babies to her. I'd stick with Dr. Jan if you had to choose.

Office staff and med techs...Mirella and Alyssa are great . Bobby who answers the phone is okay, but she has a tatoo on her chest and it looks really unprofessional when she wears lower-cut shirts. Kathy (billing and misc.) hard around the edges and unprofessional....sounds like a big smoker.

I've never had a long wait in the waiting room. In fact, more often that not, I haven't even had a chance to update my paperwork before we get called back. All 3 doctors are very good. Funny story: I was a little disheartened the first time I went in, because I was chastised because my kids didn't know their phone number. (We had moved from out of state and just had the phone installed the day before! I don't think she quite believed me.)

But ever since then, they have been very considerate, professional and caring! Recently, I took my son in and he had to have x-rays. Dr. Krakora-Looby wanted to see them right away because she was concerned. She and the staff stayed after hours to wait for the x-rays to be developed and sent up. I felt bad and apologized, but every single one of them kept a cheerful attitude and told us not to worry about it at all. Clearly they care for their patients.

I have been taking my two children to see Dr. Fireman and Dr. Krakora-Looby since they started this practice about seven years ago. I have to disagree with what the other reviewers said.

First of all, you can always get an appointment for a sick visit the day you call. They even have extended their office hours in the evening during the winter so my family could get in when they were already fully booked. We have always been made to feel welcome. The staff is warm and helpful.

Each of the doctors has their own unique personality and style of working with the families. Dr. Forsey spends lots of time with everyone. She never rushes you. As a result, she tends to run late. If you want someone to spend lots of extra time with your family, she is a good choice. People don't mind waiting for her.

Dr. Krakora-Looby (AKA "Dr. Jan"), is great at diagnosing difficult cases. I will agree that she is no nonsense in her style, but she is polite and well respected by all of her patients. She is known throughout the medical community for her strong academic skills.

Dr. Fireman is my favorite. He loves to interact with the kids, and truly has fun taking care of them. When my chidlren were younger, he always drew a "smily face" on their hands with his green marker. I often see the patients hold their hands out when he walks through the halls so they can get their smily face. He greets everybody (children and parents) by their first name. I am always amazed that he remembers them so well. He gets to know his families on a personal level, and is always the first doctor to book up with appointments.

For the person who complainted about being discharged for not paying her bill, well too bad. Their office is a business, and they certainly deserve to be paid on a timely basis.

I highly recommend the office to everyone in the area.

I love Dr. Forsey. I drive from WI just so that my son can see her. He loves her and she is really great with him. The other two, I am not really impressed with. I think they put your through like and assembly line. Dr. Forsey is a blessing for that office!
