If you are looking for nice priced fruits ,vegtables and meat then you need to go to petes their products are very nice. Meat super fresh and not to pricey . They have great selections of fresh fish that is were I get my fish from when I cook fish at home

I have been familiar with these stores for a number of years and they keep getting better.
I cannot wait for the new location on 95th between Pulaski and Kedzie to open.
Why you would shop Jewel's or Dominic's and be over charged for fresh items is beyond me . 'I'll grant that prepared , frozen and canned the afoementioned stores are comparable in some ways , but , for fresh meat , vegetables and fruit ... nothing is comparable in price and quality . Whole Foods might be a hair better in quality on some items but their prices are extrodinary even when compared to Jewel and Dominic's.
Do youself a favor and check one of these out .

Pete's market has anything you need. All their vegetables, fruits and other products are fresh. Jewel, Dominks do not compare to Pete's market. They have THREE parking lots! Everytime I go and I can't find something, all I have to do is ask one of their stockers and they will not only tell me where the product is, but they will go and get it for me. Everyone there is friendly and polite.
