I came across Lost Eras when we were working on a really edgy play that had lots of flashback scenes incorporated into the script...a friend of mine told me about this store and man, when I went in there it was like getting into a time machine! They have 2 floors and also a ton of old, weird tools and implements, perfect for what I needed, also different furniture from different periods, and clothing...all for rent! The staff helped me make a pile of items(ended up to be a small truck load) and they gave me a bulk rental fee, not too expensive really for all the stuff that I used...will definitely use them again..

Very good store to shop at when you are in the need for any kind of vintage clothing!!! The store is a little overwhelming at first. The staff are all excellent. You can find most anything vintage taht you may be looking for. The prices sometimes can be a bit pricey but well worth the money!!! We went in there to find some 50's clothing for Halloween and it was awesome! They had everything we needed! I recommend you going here. even if just to browse!!

Lost Eras is a real find! This large store on the border of Chicago and Evanston has just about everything vintage that you'd ever want, from clothing and jewery to dishes and furniture and a reasonable prices to boot. They also have a large selection of light fixtures. Don't forget to check out the basement for old fixtures for your housing restoration projects. And, if that isn't enough, Lost Eras also has costumes galore--everything for put on a theactrical production to getting just the right look at Holloween.
PROS: Large stock and great prices
