The Tuscan Table is an Italian themed store. It sports many Italian-inspired items. It also has items associated with Italian food such as oil cruets and pasta bowls. It also has a selection of wine paraphanalia including wine charms and bottle stoppers. The store is very unique--there are not many like it in the Chicago land area. If you love Italy, pasta, and wine, it is definitely a place to stop!

After the Irish Boutique in Long Grove, you might expect the Tuscan Table to have a great selection of Italian goods. Unfortunately, this place would better be called 'expensive wine and cheeseware'. True, some of it is very nice - a beautiful array of tableware, particularly espresso cups - but most of it is overpriced and not worth it, things you could find in any catalog. They do sell some music as well, but nothing at all to do with Italy - things like, Josh Groban and Charlotte Church. There is much promise here, but the store fails to deliver. Add in the haphazard display that makes breaking something a real possibility - do NOT bring children into this store - and it seems hardly worth the time to go in.

PROS: Nice tableware
CONS: Expensive, cluttered
