This location looks very authentic and is typical in terms of what you'd expect at a location from this chain. The prices are on the high side. The service took forever! I'm not sure if they purposely made me wait extra-long or what. It took about 2 hours from arriving to leaving and my date and I missed the movie we were scheduled to go to. The salad was also turning brown. I'd probably go back, but not often.

This place is hilarious. The servers all dress in costumes, dance on counters, sing karaoke, and will playfully pick on you and other customers (as long as you have a sense of humor and "get it," if not, they'll back off if you just ask). They even answer the phone with kooky sayings! The food is typical "diner" food, with tons of interesting choices like "Hoppin' John's Atomic Burger" and "Ed's Mom's Meatloaf." They have ridiculously funny signs all over the walls (including the "You're too good for him" sign in the ladies room), and the overall vibe is just a whole lot of fun. The only thing that could have ruined my time were the fuddy-duddies at the booth behind us who didn't get the concept and treated their server (who was also ours) like complete dirt. I should stress again, if you don't have a sense of humor, this probably isn't the place for you, but if you have ANY kind of personality and like a good laugh, you should probably quit reading this and go start your car.
They have a sort-of gift shop in the front and they've even got a full bar. If you don't go, you're missing out, and if you do, you're sure to have a great time. I try to stop in every time I'm in the area... I'm hoping to catch a glimpse of the 3rd generation Ed my waiter told me about. :)

Pros: The banter between the waitstaff and the dancing/singing!

Cons: Party-pooper customers who can't grasp the gimmick!

Dennys would probably be a better experience. This place is a novelty and it might be better to each the straws and napkins than the food.

It's disguisting.

Pros: It's in the mid-west

Cons: everything. yuck.

Worst food for the dollars. Horribly rude people and the mock "hurry up and eat thing" is lost to gutter rude. I would not recommend this place if you want to enjoy your food. The bathrooms and general operations are dirty. The employees seem to be trying to run it into the ground with the "rude" thing.

You've been warned.

Cons: Horrible experience for the money. Would have been if it was free.
