I love Country Lane Kennels. I used to work there for over 8 yrs. I'll say its one of the cleanest kennels around. While working there we had many compliments on how clean and pet friendly we were.

I have been taking my basset (Amber) there for sometime now. Plus she went to puppy class there. I was given a tour of where she would stay. The kennels are big and clean. Amber enjoys her stays. Amber has stayed for one night to 7 days. Amber gets to bring her favorite bone chew, toy(s) to play with and also her own treats and dog food. She likes it there. Amber will be going back. Just like we have certain hotels we like to stay at. Well I LIKE this place for my pet. Plus my vet., Dr. Maxwell is just up the hill at Dogwood PetCare Center. He is a great vet.

This kennel has since closed. The owner sold the business and there is a new owner and the kennel is in a different location. The new kennel is renamed Dogwood Kennels, but still has some of the original staff.

We took our Sheepdog there for our honeymoon and were not satisfied with his condition when we picked him up. He was soaked in his own urine, he had food bits stuck to his fur, and he stunk to high heaven. He had not been let out of the cage for a full week. We have since found a better kennel.
