I agree with the first review. It is wonderful seeing the faces of the children when the train brings their food. It is not about the food. Most children love it. I took my children years ago and now I am taking my Grandchildren. I have a nephew (30 years old) who always wants to go when he comes to town. Most weekends the counter is packed. When children eat all of their food, the train brings them a lollypop treat. The Strawberry Shake is Great. Items on the menu have a name that relates to the train theme. It is a change from Mickey D and the food is better.....made fresh from the kitchen. We need to get reviews from children and those who are Young at Heart. Take your child after going to a children's play at the Beverly Art Center. Children love it.

I remember going to this place as a youngster when it was my night for a "treat". The decor is all train themed and what a thrill it was to get my food delivered- stopping right in front of me- on a train! The diner has had a couple of new owners, but the formula is the same. Nothing special about the average diner fare, but go for the "romance" of it, and watch your grandchild's face light up just as yours did when you were a tyke.

The place is supposed to be kid friendly, yet when you walk in there noone has any enthusiasim. A train serves you your food, which is original I guess. However don't go out of your way to go here.

Pros: Decent food
Cons: Odd operation
Hello, I ate at Snackville Junction and the food is nothing special. The menu did not have anything that was unique much less the food - the only thing different was the toy train that served it to you - which in itself nothing spectacular.
