Shark City

This is a great place to see live bands. Always fun to meet up with old friends here. I love the pool tables... It is guaranteed fun!

I love the huge stage...The outdoor beergarden helped me relax after a long day at work...I love this place!

I guess the bartenders have their favorites. I sat there with my friends and watched the bartenders feed the regulars drinks all night while not charging them a dime! While we were ignored served watered down drinks and paid a fortune. Really Really!

Despite it's history of owners, getting shut down, then reopening, and the Thursday night caos. It is not a bad place to chill. It is not hard to have fun here!! The food is good...especially the wings, my favorite!! The prices are good for food and drink specials!! The staff is nice, and the good staff is still there...their has been some ppl that came and left but they left and were replaced with better ppl. The servers are cute and very friendly, especially if you get to know them. I feel bad for those poor girls sometimes, they have to put up with a lot!! It is a good thing they charge cover because it helps weed out the losers. There is enough that get through the door as it is.
Overall I would say that it is an enjoyable place to come and play pool, watch sports, and listen to bands!!

This place has a perfect atmosphere to watch any sports game. They always seem to have new drink specials every month. Not to mention the outside beer garden is the place to hang out on nice weather days/nights.

I gave 1 star becasue -10 is not an option. Go somewhere else. These people are retards! Me, my husband and some friends bought tickets to see Local H play. At the door, they gave us each coupons for 1 free hour of pool. There were no restrictions on the coupons. We had time before the band started so we played pool. After the band started, we cashed out. The guy at the desk said we owed $30 when we gave him 4 coupons (each one for 1 free hour) and only played for 2 hours. The security said $30 or we get kicked out. We just left.

We paid to see Local H and saw only 1/3 of the show. We even ordered food and I wish we didn't. We all got violently ill later in the night.

Was impressed with the food, since they changed the kitchen staff. Will return for the food and bands, seems there has been a lot of improvements since new management. Keep it up.

This is an enormous bar, but it still really packs in the people. I have been there before when they were at capacity and had a huge line of people waiting to get in. They have great live music, but I would definitely suggest getting there early on nights when they're having a live band. The heavy metal cover bands draw a particularly fun crowd (check out the Lounge Puppets!). Apparently you can also play pool and soak up a sports bar atmosphere, but every time I"ve been there it's been a striaght up rock n' roll circus.

Shark City is an ok place to go with your co-workers for a quick couple of beers and some pool after work, but I wouldn't bother staying very late or coming back after dark. That's when it turns into the kind of "meat market" environment that I don't like. But hey, it might be cool for some people.
