David's Bridal

I have been searching for over a year to find "the dress". When myself and my Maid of Honor entered Davids Bridal yesterday it was to just look, maybe try on a few dresses for her. I had no intention of trying anything on.

I was pressured into filling out their little guest card and give an exact date of the wedding which has not been set yet. Once that was completed I explained that I really had no intentions of trying any wedding gowns on as they did not have what I was looking for. Next thing I know I have room set up with gowns picked out for me. The sales girls were rude, pushy and apparently allergic to the word no.

I had FOUR sales girls telling me that one of the dresses they chose for me was the "last one" and that I should buy it that day or I'd regret it. When l had told them I didn't like the dress and that I did not care if it was the last one, they told me that I would regret not buying that day.

I left so fast they were spinning. I told my Maid of Honor to get dressed and that we were leaving. I will never return to that store ever again! Horrible customer service, and may god help you if you don't follow their rules because apparently EVERY bride HAS to wear a bridal gown.

I want to let the public know that David's Bridal is good for their product but as an employer and customer satisfaction I would not recommend David's Bridal to anyone. They will BS you through everything and anything to get you to buy that day. As an employer they will promise the world and crush your world after they have you wrapped around their finger. I had come to David's for the customers and a career. The customers is what kept me their hoping for change for so many years. I finally got to the point where I couldn't handle hearing the customers not being taken care of the way you expect your experience to be in a bridal shop. I want to apologize to all of you that have had a bad experience and hope the best for your future :)

I went there on a first stop for my search for "the dress".

Unfortunately, they don't carry dresses with long sleeves; pretty much 95% of their inventory is strapless.

I get it: that's what's "in" right now, but some of us want variation.

They can add sleeves, but for a high price and only sheer lace--no fabric.
The salespeople were also overly-pushy (If I already said that I don't need assistance, don't ask me every five seconds!)

They have good prices on dresses, but it's not worth it if I'm not completely loving it!

I have watched and watched commercials for davids bridal, but had never gone there. My friend is getting married in January, so I went there looking for a dress that would be formal but not to formal. I hesitated at first because the commercials made it sound like they had really great prices and a huge selection, and i thought that they like other commercials would be misleading. Well thank goodness I was wrong! They had the exact style of dress that I wanted for the wedding, and not only that but it was on clearence just like the commercial advertised!
