Christopher Mitchell Salon is one of many salons in the Wheaton/Carol Stream area but it stands out from the rest by it's commitment to excellence and thorough understanding of hair care.
Even though I was a first time customer, I was given the owner of the salon and he not only cut and styled my hair he also gave me a tutorial on how my hair can look it's best. Since getting the haircut, my hair is much easier to style and I have received a number of compliments on the cut new look.
I have wavy hair and my stylist initially styled it straight but invited me back to have a free 'curly hair consultation' when he taught me how to style my new hair to make it look cute curly. I've never had this kind of service at any other salon.

I went in for a haircut and the stylist Toni gave me a cut, color and also did my make up. I now have a stylist that I can rely on with every aspect of my looks. I thought the salon had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. When I was getting my hair done, I enjoyed that some of the other stylist had opinions to offer, it showed that they worked as a team. It was refreshing to see that in a salon. As I looked around at the other clients being worked on, I also liked the cuts, colors and styles that were being done.

I have recommended my stylist Toni and Mitchell Christopher Salon to my family and friends and I also recommend to you.

Pros: Friendly and Knowledgable Staff

I've been to salons all over DuPage County, and I've never got a better haircut than here. The stylists/colorists actually listen to what you're asking for, and my family and I have NEVER left the shop disappointed.
The prices are in line with other salons in the area. And I've never had a problem getting an appointment when I needed it to fit in with my busy schedule.

If you live in Winfield, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Carol Stream or West Chicago this place is a snap to get to. It's located right along Geneva Rd in the heart of these communities.

Pros: The staff really knows what's it's doing.

Cons: For some, a bit small. But it works for me.

We are new to Wheaton and have been dissappointed by a few salons we had tried prior to Mitchell Christopher. My husband first received an excellent cut by Kevin and I followed with a foil and cut that was again, done by Kevin. I walked out 100% satisfied with the color, cut and overall vibe from the salon. Every employee appeared to be warm, caring and professional which is a quality that is rapidly declining in so many salons these days. Kevin actually spent the majority of his time watching my head instead of himself in the mirror which was so refreshing.

I'm growing my hair out from a very short, layered cut and Kevin made the transition look so natural and nice that I have received compliments galore!!! His friendliness and love of his work are apparent within 5 minutes and he did not fail to produce an excellent cut and highlighting that exceeded my expectations. Needless to say, I'm a devoted fan. Thank you Kevin, thank you Mitchell Christopher.
