Everybody uses the term "used car saleman" . These people are the epitome of the term. They do not have an honest bone in their body. It starts at the top-nothing but greed. Then works its way down throughout the company-if there are no ethics at the top, none can be expected in the rest of the company. I have to believe that anyone with any integrity at all would not last in this company for any length of time.

the service department is a joke. I get a call letting me know my car will be ready in an hour. I get to the service department in an hour and half. While I was going to the cashier, I get a call that my car wasnt ready and I would need to get it the next day. Thank for letting me know LAST Minute! I get no apologies, nothing. I would rate it 0 stars. I REPEAT LIKE OTHERS, AVOID PERILLO! There is a reason why they have those crappy commercials, they SUCK and they know it.

1) Perillo BMW had my car for 5 days before even starting on working on it!

2) They didn't even allow me a loaner, and instead referred me to a nearby Enterprise.

3) In addition, they curbed and scratched my wheels, and all they could say was, "this has never happened before. We've never had problems with this shop." (They sent my wheels to some shop to be inspected, without even telling me). Why? I don't know. They told me the damage was there already. Perillo staff, I check my car every time I enter and exit; I know the deficiencies so don't call me a liar!

4) Creaking sounds started to occur whenever I would go up or down a driveway or alley - may be coincidence or it may not be.

5) Four miles were put onto my car while it was at the dealership! This was totally unaccounted for. Can you say, joyride? Yes, they fixed my car, but I they returned it with additional damage and took no responsibility.

When I retrieved my car, there were food crumbs inside, and dirt on the interior doors and front seats. They didn't even bother wiping it off! I had to point it out for them to do something!

I talked with the mechanic, and I talked with the manager. The service rep was the only one that was nice, but he did all he could. Management doesn't care about my complaint because they are the only BMW dealership in Chicago. Perillo BMW gets so much business because of it's location. but they SEVERELY lack in customer service. Apparently, I'm not the only one with a bad experience.

I understand that Perillo BMW deals with more customers than suburban dealerships, but CUSTOMER SERVICE is extremely important! Pay attention to ALL of your customers rather than the majority.

Word of advice: go to a suburban BMW dealership rather than a metropolitan dealership. NEVER trust Perillo BMW. Even with a further drive, you won't be disappointed with the service compared to Perillo's lack thereof.

The first time I went in to talk about a lease, a newer salesman gave me one of the worst "used car salesman" experiences I've ever had- he told me that the lease would be over DOUBLE what was advertised and what was offered at other places and that I could only pick from what was already on the lot. I did go back and talk to a long time salesman who was nice, helpful and gave me a fair (and realistic) price. Be careful- this is a place where you need to know your numbers before you go in. But, they have such a big inventory you can get a good price and they know how to take care of customers long term.

The staff at Perillo is very rude! I understand that they are one of the only BMW dealers in Chicago and are very busy but that doesn't excuse them to be rude to out of towners who needed a simple oil change on their BMW while visiting! The service department staff needs to lose the attitude!
