I reported to Shawn the service manager that the door panel on my new 1500 was broke by his dept. he said we have not worked on your truck yet, I showed him the paper work that it had been preformed, he didnt know what to say so he started

TERRIBLE SERVICE. My salesman was clearly taking advantage of me when making his sale. His whole attitude changed when my dad came with when he decided he would negotiate prices after all.

Additionally, the "one year maintenance" is a JOKE! Be prepared to wait over an hour for a loaner car and not be taken seriously. ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Do not make the mistake I did by buying from Dan Wolf Chevrolet in Naperville!!!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. My salesman was clearly taking advantage of me when making his sale. His whole attitude changed when my dad came with when he decided he would negotiate prices after all.

Additionally, the "one year maintenance" is a JOKE! Be prepared to wait over an hour for a loaner car and not be taken seriously. ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Do not make the mistake I did by buying from Dan Wolf Chevrolet in Naperville!!!

Under both ownerships- Dan Wolf Chevrolet of Naperville and Horizon Chevrolet have been not customer friendly. 2 times I have been suckered into the dealership. With new ownership with a newwebsite saying how much they strive for customer loyalty- I thought things would be differnt- BOY was I wrong! The scariest part was the inconsistancy with the smooth talking sales staff to the pushy and bitter finance lady, to the disregard for privacy of personal information! What started out as an ok interaction turned out to be a total nightmare. I thought that a company that was purchased by a chain of dealerships would have a better handle on the inconsistancy that I would expect of a new company. These comines experiences have really put a bad tate in my mouth about the whole dan wolf auto group...

When I first bought my truck from Horizon about 6 years ago I had a great experience. So much so that my dad also bought a truck that same night. They stayed open late on a holiday and the salesperson was amazing! It was my first new car and I was very impressed.
Since then I have been underwhelmed by the service that I have received from the dealership. The service representative never seemed to take me seriously when I brought my truck in for repairs.
Once I was overcharged for a service and dealing with the comptrollers was an absolute nightmare. She was rude and completely out of line, to the point where I have the branch manager's direct phone number now.
The receptionists over the phone are not always the most effective - I have been "accidently" hung up on 3 times in one phone call when she was trying to transfer my call.
One day I can call the service department and ask a question on how to repair something myself and in 5 minutes they can talk me through it over the phone. Another day they tell me that it is impossible to fix over the phone, that I would need to bring it in so they can take a look at it and then advise how it can be fixed.

Even after all of this, I may still purchase another car from this dealer, I just would not recommend dealing with anyone else in the dealership.

I was a little discouraged by the way they handled the negotiating and the turn in of my existing vehicle they we really lowballing the price. I ended up going to another dealer and got a great car. Horizon still (after my telling them i wasn't interested) called my house and cell once or twice a day for about 2 weeks. It was very annoying.
