Viking Ski Shop Incorporated

I bought my first set of skis in December 2005 and am happy with my shopping experience here. The staff seems very knowledgeable and worked hard to match me up with skis that met my skill level, my goals and my budget.

PROS: helpful staff, reasonable prices
CONS:

The staff at Viking are able to recommend equipment and accessories that appropriately fits your needs. They were able to get custom-made boots for my husband, who wears a size 17 and could not find boots that fit him properly. They made great recommendations for me when I got my first set, since I had no clue how to find what kind I needed.

Viking Ski Shop has really good service. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. They ask why you are looking to buy ski equipment and what your skill level is. They don't seem to have that big of a selection, and I ended up with rather expensive ski boots. But on the plus side I went skiing for a week and they never hurt my feet and my feet never got frostbitten. It's also not in a great neighborhood, but it's not scary either. Overall, I'd recommend checking it out if you wanted to get some ski stuff.
