I have never dealt with such ignorance in all my life. The company has to be in someones basement. My daughter, 16 was sitting at a stop sign and was rear ended 31 days ago. Every time I call and try to speak to someone it goes straight to voice mail and if you are fortunate enough to talk to someone dont expect a curteous professional. I finally did get to talk to someone just long enough to get their bosses number. I got a live talk number insead. Now I am really pissed.

I am now going through the experience of trying to work with this company. They specialize in "non-standard" auto insurance. Their "non-standard" policy holder caused a collision and received a citation for his part in the collision. I had a problem with them returning my phone calls; even the messages I left for supervisors were ignored. They are denying my claim because they said "evasive action" could have been taken. I guess skid marks aren't considered evasive action. I have hired an attorney to deal with this company and their policy holder. I am also reporting them to Illinois comsumer agencies and the Illinois Dept. of Insurance. Based on what I've seen on the web, I won't be the first and I won't be the last. A consumer agency of Illinois gives this company an "F" rating. Founders earned this rating

First when I called to file a claim, I would be on hold for 20 min. then they would hang up on me. It took 5 times of doing this before I actually got through. Then, they stated they were closed at 4:40 when their business hours state they are open until 5 p.m. You never get a person. You can't talk to anyone but the adjuster asigned to your file, who you can never get through to, and they don't return your phone calls. You have to call 5 times before they do. You can't report them to their supervisors because they don't return your calls either. It took 30 days for me to find out they were only going to cover 80% of the damage, because their insured stated I made a sudden stop and he rear ended me. Which is not true. Their insured ran into me while I was at a complete stop and he was just not paying attention. Even if I made a sudden stop, he should have been a safe distance behind me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE AND COVERAGE!!!

I was in a car accident almost a year ago. I claimed the accident on my insurance (founders) after the other drivers insurance wouldn't pay. Founders would NOT pay my full claim. Instead, they would only give me one forth of what it cost to fix my car. Not including my medical bills.
