This was the single worst experience with tailoring and shoe repair that I have ever experienced! I had to bring back two pair of pants that they altered because the chalk lines were still there where a dart was supposed to go, but the work was never done (yet I was charged for the work). By far the worst part of my experience was with a pair of boots that I brought in to polish the scuff marks. They were ivory designer boots that I have had for a couple years, but only wore a handful of times. They PAINTED my boots a different color, got the paint all over the edge of the sole, missed spots with the paint, and left the boots with two holes on the top of the boots that they tried to patch. When I confronted them about it, they initially lied about damaging the boots. When I showed them (and other customers near by) that they ruined my boots and asked them to please file a claim with their insurance company, the owner said they didn't carry insurance, and held my boots hostage, saying that she would only return them once she received an original receipt from me detailing the selling price. She also kept the $10 that I paid to polish the boots in the first place. As I do not have the receipt for the boots, they sat in their shop for a while, until my husband went to the shop and demanded that she return the boots. She did, but she kept the $10 she charged me for the privilege of destroying my ivory boots. I complained to the village, but since Willowbrook is a no home rule community, they said I have no recourse, except perhaps litigation. I will never step foot in there again, and I have advised every one I know about my experience.

I often get lots of dresses from my sister abroad and take them here for any alteration. The results are always good and i dont mind the slight extra price because the fabrics are costly and I feel safer giving them here. I have also tried there shoe repair and they resoled my sandals making them new again. The staff is well trained, courteous and helpful

PROS: Work Quality
CONS: Expensive

Willowbrook Shoe Repair did a great job fixing my strap on my high heels.. They also sell shoes and we ended up buying a couple pairs of shoes from them and they are very well made and don't hardly show any signs of wear. They are so nice and friendly to deal with - they treat the customer like you are very important to them and when you come more than once they try to learn your name and greet you. I wouldn't hestitate to use them again.
