Terrible terrible food & ambience!!!... I will never never go back again.. There is no place to sit .. You feel so cramped... The table traps you and hits you in the chest...No room to move & the seats are narrow.. my back started aching..

They have a great buffet and is a nice dine in experience but I feel they are quick to judge you if you do not order drinks or do not have a date with you. South indian, north indian and indo chinese cuisine

I have been a long standing customer and today I feel so embarrassed and dejected by a different treatment. The food was good and I almost eat here for atleast 2 days in a week. For the past couple of weeks I was refused a seat on a sunday and a saturday in another week. Guessing the reason? I was a Single and had no one with me. I had to wait for more than 20 minutes just to see the people who came after me pass in front of me to be seated. I walked out after being tested by my daibetic(?) stomach. Very worst treatment for any singles. I wonder if the waiters were instructed by the management not to seat the singles on a saturday or sunday? Anyways I am out of here for ever. Choice is yours!

Pros: food is okay

Cons: no good for singles

My husband and I have been to Priya's a few times. Although they serve North Indian and Indo-Chinese food, its the South Indian food that is exceptionally tasty and authentic. The menu includes many Andhra staples that you will not find at a regular Indian restaurant. We love the 'perugu vankaya' and the fried tinda.
I have a complaint about their 'drink' service though, as this has happened on more than one occasion. I would prefer my drink to arrive soon after I order it while I'm waiting for the rest of my food to arrive, not halfway through the meal after I've reminded them a few times. That said, the Chikoo Shake and the Khara Lassi are good.
We love the food, the owners are always very friendly, the new decor makes the place look much better. We will keep going back here for our Andhra food fix.

Priya is by far the best Indian food that I've had in the Chicago suburbs to this point. The buffet had a wide array of dishes that were all very flavorful and sufficiently spicy. The paratha, the chutneys, and the rice dishes all complemented the main portions perfectly. Excellent meal all around, I can't wait to get back and order from the menu.
