These people are really great. I brought my 1.5 year old female Pembroke Welsh Corgi here, after I had found her seizing (the morning after Thanksgiving), as soon as they opened we were there with her (still seizing) they immediately took us to a room and administered medication to try to ease the seizures. I had to leave her overnight, but blood tests confirmed there was nothing wrong with her that was in her blood (i.e. toxins, poisons). He said it seemed like it was a neurological disorder that caused the seizures. He said she would have to be on medication the rest of her life.
My husband called for me the next morning, I was too upset to hear bad news.. I had a feeling it was going to be bad.. It was. She did not respond to the medication. He had given her enough to stop a 100lb dog from seizing for 6 hours.. she was 14.8 and only stopped for 2. That night, I wanted to go see her, but I had a really bad feeling (at around 5:30 or so..) so I just went home to try to wait on news. We had asked him to try to keep her on the medication until Monday.. he said it would probably not make a difference and if she were his he would discuss euthanizing her.
I couldn't lose my baby so young. I cried and my husband asked him to keep her until Monday. At around 7:30 that night my husband answered the phone.. it was the vet.. she had passed away at 7:00. She just couldn't do it.
Even though I lost my baby, I am thankful that they tried to help and made her as comfortable as possible. I wish I could have been with her.
They are helping me get her cremated and I couldn't ask for anyone better. Little Egypt really does care for pets, and they don't try to get you to spend money for their benefit, they try to save you money by discussing the best options.

Toni, the receptionist is always there with a HUGE smile and friendly chatting. The other's on staff though I do not know all their names are super friendly as well. Dr. Parker is fabulous too. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was the cost. BUT, I called every single vet in a 10 mile radius and This was the CHEAPEST place. I have taken my animals to Dr.Parker even before he had his FABULOUS office. He had a van and he would go from town to town and see your pets. He is the best vet I have seen in quite a while. I had a pet Chihuahua that had gotton attacked and was bleeding very badly. It was just as the office was supposed to close but I called and Toni met me at the door and they took care of her terrifically. I would recommend the whole staff and especially Dr. Parker.

I have been taking my animals to Little Egypt for about four years now. My pets and myself have always received the best treatment by the whole staff. I have a Yorkie that was doing very poorly and Dr. Parker did everything that was possible to find the problem---he is doing very well now. I just recently had a growth removed from my German Shephard mix by the laser and she "bounced back" within the same day. I have always been very comfortable with Dr. Parker's knowledge of pets and always took his recommendations into consideration for my pet's well being. My pets love the staff and I am sure yours will too.

I've been using Little Egypt Veterinary Clinic for over 10 years. They have cared for my "Millie" since she was a pup. They make us feel like family. I do a lot of traveling, so "Millie" gets to spend lots of time boarding. The whole staff knows her, and she's always excited to visit. Dr. Parker always seems genuinely interested in both "Millie"and I, even if we bump into him outside the clinic. The clinic environment is always clean, and the staff friendly and cheerful. Their Laser surgery is wonderful. "Millie" recently had a growth removed, and by the time I picked her up that evening, she was acting her normal self. If you have a pet, you need to visit Little Egypt, and tell them "Millie" sent you.

At first, I was impressed with the Little Egypt Mobile Veterinary Clinic's location and staff. It is located right inside Marion, IL, which is helpful to many area residents. The secretary always has a smile on their face when you walk in. Little Egypt Mobile Veterinary Clinic also offers a large selection of pet foods and supplies. But, when you actually take your pet to see the doctor is where the service lacks. After taking three of my animals there, it seemed the only thing the doctor could come up with is that the animals were overweight. The pet boarding is sub-par also, and very expensive. Other veterinarians will help you bring your animal into the office, but at the Little Egypt Mobile Veterinary Clinic, this is not the case. It almost seems people are there to do their job and nothing more.

PROS: Semi-friendly staff, large pet supply selection
CONS: Sub-par veterinarians, no customer care
