I got an armoire from this place and it's really nice. But, the delivery guys were not smart enough to figure out a way to bring it into my apartment. So they said they'd be back in 15 minutes and never came back. Luckily, my roommate's bf was there and he brought it in for me, all by himself.

Pros: Furniture is nice and at a good price

Cons: Delivery service is horrible

They have five floors of furniture, mattresses and carpets, etc., but nothing is labeled and the person doing the organizing is a sloppy drunk -- just piles of way too much stuff collecting dust. The only items that appear to a normal person to be for sale are displayed in the small lobby on the first floor of the warehouse. Also reported found in that lobby were a group of elderly women crocheting.

Nothing is a bargain. There?s a reason you couldn?t fit a single additional chair in the entire freaking warehouse?it?s already full. I?ve concluded they are packrats who are in perpetual protest of the selling of things. I think this because they charge $75 for a chair that was purchased for $100 during the Carter administration. They just don?t want to see it go.

My advice is this: For the sake of God, lower your prices, sell more stuff, increase turnover, improve variety and make yourself some frickin? money.

The comical business practices aside -- and believe me, it's like the place is being run by a twelve-year-old who needs to be told to clean up his room -- what bothered me most were the fire exits. Several of them had been secured shut from the inside with serious metal hardware. When you?re up there on the fifth floor by yourself and there?s a wall of couches on either side of you and the doors are bolted shut, you start looking around for the freezer of body parts. In all seriousness though, there really are no reasonable means of egress in the event of a fire. The place would go up so quick anyway, that even if you were able to navigate the award-worthy obstacle course they?ve created upstairs, you would likely parish at the foot of the bolted fire exits.

This place is in violation of so many freaking safety codes, it?s amazing they haven?t been shut down already. Great place to bring the kiddies though!

I bought an Armoire from there in March. I felt the asking price was too much and we were able to come to a more comfortable price for the piece. It was delivered three days later as promised. The staff were friendly and I was in and out quickly. But you do have to take your time and look around, on all floors if necessary. Remember that furniture turns over real quick. One suggestion I would make to them is to try to keep the dust to a minimum.

Pros: It had what I needed.

Cons: To dusty.

I hope the other review stays up on this site and I should have read it before I went here, because the EXACT same thing happened to me. I was told at 4 different occasions that my furntiure was "on the truck, on the way to my house" and it NEVER showed up. The next day they called to say that they had mysteriously lost it. I have never, ever experienced such rudeness during the phone calls either. At one point someone was answering the phone with a string of swear words.

Pros: I am not sure I can come up with one

Cons: The entire experience was terrible

I have never experienced such inept service in my life. I purchased two chairs and paid to have them delivered. One month and five phone calls later, one with Cooper himself who said the chairs were "on their way" right then, I still didn't have my chairs. I finally went in and demanded my delivery money back and asked for my chairs. Armando disappeared into the back room. After waiting for 15 minutes for him to come back, I finally just went to the cashier and asked for my money back for the chairs too. They had obviously lost my chairs, or sold them or something. Unbelievable...
