I went in for a little hair cut, came out feeling awesome!! This place is amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Jamie, the lady that cut my hair. She has a great personality and took her time with my hair and I was just extremely satisfied with my hair. I don't think it has ever looked this good.

My experience at Xcursions salon was the worst experience of my life. I originally went in for color and was sent to a stylist who was fairly new and mentioned that she "wasn't familiar with the color line" umm...then why are you doing my hair, I wanted like three colors. I left with four colors and the top half of my hair bleached. I was unhappy and scheduled an appointment to have my hair fixed and they proceeded to tell me the I would have to pay half price because I didn't do what they wanted me to, in order to fix it. Do not go here, It was horrible.

The first visit to a new salon/stylist is always a little nerve-wracking, but at Xcursions I immediately felt comfortable. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and my stylist was informative and responsive to my requests....and I can be very 'opinionated' :) I left the salon with a style I was very satisfied with and also some great products. My stylist helped me pick products that would work well with my specific hair type. I have since been a returning customer for several years now and several of my friends and family are also now satisfied customers of the salon. The only con I can think of is the small waiting area...which is a small price to pay for a great cut and color, and good conversation. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone.

I have really dark hair, but told my stylist I wanted to have a lot of honey blonde and soft blonde highlights. I've been blonde pretty much since I can remember, but 3 years ago I found out I was pregnant and went natural. I mentioned I didn't want bleached out highlights...but unfortunately that's what I got. Actually, they where more like white streaks! Some are grey and crunchy and the ends are breaking off! A $100.00 for this! Sadly I'm so sensitive and realized this girl was too so I didn't want to cause her any heartache. But honestly right when she removed the towel -even before she started to pick my hair out, I told her that I wasn't happy with it. She kept telling me it looked pretty and that the lighting in their salon wasn't to great. She told me 20 times that my hair would be just fine. I let it go and excepted her way of smoothing things over and was just wished and hoped to see better results. I have really natural curly hair and so she insisted , on blow drying my hair, then flat ironing it and that it would be pin straight and that I would see then that my hair would turn out just fine. Aside from the bad color and highlights I couldn't believe how silky and straight my hair actually was. After getting home and a day later washing my hair then blow drying it, I realize this huge bleach spot that bled along the base of my skull (thankfully if I pull some strands of hair one way or another, I can manage to somewhat hide this huge bleach spot) but non the less it is still there. I was so upset all weekend because I realized that while she cut my hair, then blew it out and then flat ironed it, she had at least 3 opportunities to let me know and maybe even offered to fix it, but she didn't. I couldn't just let this be it. I decided to call her to see if I could get piece of mind by going in and having her take another look at it to see if maybe it could be fixed. She didn't have much time for me, so I said maybe she should just give me my money back. She immediately said that she would refund me. I told her that I was sorry (go figure -she should have been apologizing to me -I had really pretty hair until she fried it) but we talked and she openly mentioned what she'd knew to be wrong. She honestly said that bleach spots are normal. She said that the highlights got to bright and the toner wouldn't grab hold. Even during my visit while the product was on my hair, I asked her if she was going to check the bottom foils at the base of my skull because those foils went in first and I had been there for a while (total of 5 hours) so they had been in forever. She said that if they got to light, she would just use a toner. I know that toners are used for specific reasons but not because someone just won't take the time to remove a few foil, spray a little water on the product and rub it off so that it stops processing. On the phone when she agreed to give me my money back, she agreed to meet me in the lobby to take a closer look at my hair. When I got there the receptions just handed me my refund. I asked if she could please get my stylist and she said "Why? So you can rub it in?" I stood there for a moment in shock -so embarrassed! But I then I said "no, not to rub it in", she told me she would look at my hair. I would have never intentionally made someone feel worse then they already did. When I was leaving the receptionist was loudly and rudely saying BYE as I turned to walk out the door. Why she treated me that way or even thought I deserved to be is just crazy. I can't believe they thought their stylist was the victim. I didn't get the apology I deserved, but I did get my money back thank god. All in all my stylist was really sweet -Really I think I'd rather get an apology from that rude receptionist who made me feel less than human for something I didn't do. I'd tell you not to go to Xcursions Salon, but this is only a review. My experience there is not yours, but just remember it could be!

This salon is one of the best in the area. They have a ton of staff so getting an appointment is rarely a problem They have all kinds of services and the prices are great! The staff is very friendly and wonderful to get along with. Wait times are short. They have good hours and the place is clean and really nice looking.
