This salon is terrible. Extremely over -priced for the quality. I went into the salon for a fix on a bad highlight job, and left with purple, green and mousy brown hair. It was sad. I called asking for a refund and they said that they will not return money, only fix the mistake. This is not what I wanted since I no longer trust the stylist. I have called several times trying to reach the top manager, and apparently she is never in...maybe one of the reasons the salon is so bad. Will never go here again, and will tell everyone I know how bad it is.

Drove 50 minutes one way to get a massage. The staff was professionally pleasant (like Barbie). The parking area was cramped because of poor snow removal (hasn't snowed in two weeks, folks. Time to get it cleaned up!), and there was a greasy-looking maintenance man working loudly in the day spa's quiet area. The spa was generic looking (I've been to much nicer), and after waiting 20 minutes past my start time, the masseuse escorted me to the room. When asked if there was anything she should know before starting, I relayed that 2 days ago I found out I was pregnant. She then explained to me that MT has a CYA (cover your *ss) policy that doesn't allow them to massage a pregnant woman in the first trimester and they absolutely won't massage a pregnant woman without a Dr. note. So in addition to spending $120 on the massage, I'm supposed to spend more $$$ seeing my doctor and getting a note? I understand that they have to be cautious with a pregnant woman, but this information was never shared with me when I called and made the appointment. My hubby got me a GC, which was the reason I went in the first place. Overall, this was much more effort than it was worth. I wouldn't recommend this company. If you really feel the need to visit MT, instead, I would encourage you to hold the cash you are willing to spend in your right hand, and a lighter in your left. Apply the lighter to the cash...at least you'll get some warmth from the blaze, instead of the burning anger I felt after an hour and a half in the car.

My haircuts have been great. Renee is awesome. I had my hair colored 2 times, a different colorist each time, and each one was awful. I cannot believe what they charge for the quality and I have been to some pricey salons where they did do a great job. I do pay a lot for my haircut but I have yet to find someone better in this area. I only recommend Renee for a haircut.

I've been to the Schaumburg and Arlington Heights Mario locations and the Crystal Lake location is not as nice as the others.

I had a gift certificate for them to use and I never liked my haircuts from them. So I dedided to have some acrylic nails put on.

The nail tech was awesome. My nails were perfect, they lasted about 3-4 weeks before I needed them filled and they were flawless.

Luckily, I had a gc since they are way too overpriced for nails. There are way too many shops around that are much much cheaper and still provide good quality.

I would only return if I was given another gc.
