For those of you who are criticizing this wonderful church or the finances you are totally WRONG!!! It is not an obligation to give to the Lord. Either you give in obedience to God as He asks in HIS WORD and expect blessings or simply do not give at all and do NOT expect blessings from the Lord. It is that simple! Pastor Daniel and his wife Pastor Jennifer are wonderful people. Why? Simply because they are a man and woman of God who are filled with the Holy Spirit of God. And they do care about others.They have been a GREAT example in my life and I will highly recommend this church with out a doubt, because your life will be changed forever! If you don't understand the preachings or the finances ask God in PRAYER and READ the word of God so that you would not be CONFUSED!!! BE FILLED WITH THE LOVE OF GOD AND LET GOD EXAMINE YOUR HEART!!! LOVE YOU ALL!

I went to the church once but felt that money was the center of the message. I understand the importance of tithing, but I have a problem when the tone of the message is zoned on the the $$.

I think we all know that even if your a true christian or not we have to fight sin .that's what I see in every church I've been to.it just makes me know that were not better than anyone were all aiming to serve god and he knows were not perfect. I can't believe the bad stuff people say. First off I don't serve god any where close to what the pastor does. I go to church once a year. and I have it all the expensive car,nice house,moeny in the bank, except christ!! And I'm Not truly happy.so,why can't a paster have the same thing .he serves the lord day in and out. To bring people to christ so, we Won't die not loving and serving him. I don't !! You get me.. I hope him and every pastor live good and are blessed all the time. (I had to let that out..) paster daniel cruz and his family are truly a blessing .I am not a church girl at all. I only look for god when I'm sad or mad. I'm guilty.. I've been Going there on and off for 9 yrs. And that's because of my own issues not the church, or the people. But god seems to always bring me back to this church.I've been back these 2 sundays for the plays it made me cry and open my heart. and I'm excited about coming tommorow:) and I truly want to continue regardless if I'm happy with my life or not. pastor cruz and jenifer cruz inspire me ,get me excited, truly help me get closer to christ. And I thank you..

What seems odd to me is after this capital campaign launched off a week or so ago, the Pastors are now on a vacation in Florida. I give what I can and no one can tell me any different, there is a lot of work to be done in this church, it does not matter what it looks like, what matters is what this church can do for us. I am there for God and that is all. I have been feeling very distant lately form Faith world due to some of these people , you have people that say Hi and greet you when ever they feel like it, if your not part of their clique, they usually treat you like they do not know you,what kind of Christians are these, how may times have I walked by Pastor Jennifer and I do not even get a hello. However, she is always greeting her little group of girls, or her mentees , what about all the other woman of the church. Again, Pastor Danny is a wonderful Pastor and has been such a blessing with his teachings, but again I attend for My Lord and to thank and Praise him for what he has done in my life.

I have been to this Church and let me tell you, what this women says its true. I thought I was the only one. Almost everybody I know that has gone to this Church on Fullerton has said the same thing, no money no service.

It's one thing to ask for 10percent of your paycheck, but whatever happened to give what you can to the church. This church is just like any other, so why ask for so much money. Maybe to to pay for the Wife's bills. I certainly would like to know how they are able to afford a Porche and an Escalade. Hmm, I sence my money is not going towards the Church, but going to their car payments and Insurance. I would wonder what would happen if we only gave 1 percent of our paycheck. Also why do we have to give our entire paycheck in the begginning of the month of the year. Imagine an estimate of $200 times 300 to 400 people. That's $60,000 to $80,000 cash. And $200 is just an estimate it's even higher. Not to mention 10% of the paycheck every week which is $12,000 a week for just $40 from 1 person. That's an estimate of $48,000 a month. Wow! $576,000 a year. That's almost more than half a million. I am sure only 10 percent of this money goes to Church, where is the money going? This church feels like a business not like God's work here. Feels more like a Cult to me.

I have to say that although the pastor is awesome, his wife seems like she's only concerned with how much you put in the offering basket. It's almost like if you don't empty out your wallet, she makes you feel guilty about it. Or in her words, "You have to serve the mission of this house (meaning the church)." I mean God forbid you actually have some bills to pay at home. Isn't it funny how they are driving a Porsche and an Escalade and never have enough to pay the bills of the church? Now tell me who's mission are we serving, hers or the church's?

I would first like to say that instead of everyone being so critical and looking at the church they need to look at themselves and there hearts. When we stand before God and he judges us he want care about what car the pastor drives, gossip, or any other nonsense that I have just read. Its going to be you and God and you will be judged accordingly for your sins here on earth. Hell is real and God want be concerned with the nonsense that these people are concerned with. Look at your hearts. From my experience I attended this church and I was blessed by there services. I had been going through so many things at the point of hopelessness and God begin to speak to me during the sermons and when they prayed for me. God begin to tell me that I had to let go of the bitterness and hurt that I harbored in my heart. I got healed at this church. When I had my son he was in the hospital for two weeks I called the church and they sent some ministers to pray for my child. I look and focus on God and not man. Man will fail you but God will never fail you. When I visted the members were friendly and it felt like a church home. I attended there Hell house which also blessed me. I was dealing with the fact that I had an abortion at a young age and I had self condemed myself. They had a scene in Hell house with a girl having an abortion. God convicted my heart and I asked God to forgave me then I forgave myself. I never looked back since that day. This church deals with real life issues and they are God fearing. I have been blessed by there ministry.

I attended Faithworld for 5 years with my Girlfriend and we loved it but as time went by we started to feel left out, judged and noticed a lot of hypocrites including some in ministry, now , don't get me wrong it is a great church and all churches have there good and bad but the family feel it had when we started was lost and a financial mind took over so most not all was gone.You don't go to a church for all that though you go to find the lord and learn about the bible, how to become a better person, funny thing is i learned this after i left Pastor Daniel is a good man and taught me alot Pastor Jennifer is also a great woman who does genuinly love GOD and all who attend Faithworld she really is a woman of GOD its just not the same Faithworld I came to know and Love and Unlike those who either gave praise to or passed Judgement on Faithworld yet remained annoymous i will give my name for i hide from no one my name is Markos and i am a better person because of what i lived, learned and loved at Faithworld International Church, GOD bless them and the Pastors, im a better person because of them.

wow, I grew up in the pentocostal church along with 3 other sister's then as we got older we just stopped going but always had el temor now I started coming when my oldest daughter one day said there is a church I want you to visit you are going to like it I did and yes I was touched cause when you know there is a god because i had known him just slacked off for awhile now its been 2 yrs that I've been coming and faithfully all for the glory of God now my daughters come and friends so i have been multipling all for God now I am trying to get my husband and son to visit I know someday hope not to long they will come and with your prayer and the family I know we will win the battle that I am in now pastor daniel and jennifer you guys are awesome and have such powerful words I really like coming to church and worship C R

Talk about expectation you just don't know what God is going to do next in this church. There's excitement and the worship music is out of this world!! Pastor Daniel preaches a message that anyone can understand and grow from. He's on fire and Pastor Jennifer is beautiful inside and out and a wonderful mentor. This place has really impacted me and also my family. Especially coming to Glory week, I can see the arts ministry really flowing in painting, dance and poetry. I love the freedom you feel to worship God in your own expression of your love for him. Faithworld in Chicago is truly an experience with God.

I attended FWIC for about 5 years or more...When I 1st came I thought I had hit the JACK POT!! Like anything new it always starts off GOOD! My husband and I were fortunate enough to have somewhat of a relationship with our Pastors...I do thank them for the many seeds that they did impart into us and our marriage...I do believe that when the church started to grow there was a shift that took place. We can not look to Pastor's to be perfect...We are all imperfect people living to someday meet a PERFECT GOD! Honestly I really never felt connected to this church I often wondered if that were because I am more of a background person? I wanted relationship with GOD not man! It wasn't until I left that all the gifting that God has place in me have truly been activated.I also know that God sent us there on assignment and when our season was up we had to leave. It wasn't a popular decision but again we serve GOD not man...Yes we heard how we were Sunday Morning message. But I can truly say that God will take a mess and make it into a Masterpiece....I know that Pastor Cruz is a true man of God. More than anything he wants to live to please Him. My prayer is that he will impart more into the men/son' s in the house and that God will restore his trust.. I believe just as he has a great marriage that this is what the desire is for a lot of married couples that attend FWIC! I will not dare put my mouth on the man or woman of God. Instead "WE" have more power to give it to God and pray. I promise you then and only then is when GOD will show up and SHOW OUT! until his return

My review depends on the level of your heart. I attended this church for over 8 years and recently decided it was time to go. Although the foundation of worship and preaching is good and causes you to grow in some things of God, there is no real balance. It always a changing vision. Pastor Daniel has a heart after God and it shows, but most of the people I talked to there over the years have a hard time with his wife, Jennifer Cruz. The manipulating spirit is stong on her and my prayer is that people snap out of it! She is not GOD!!! And therefore can not control people the way I watched her do. I can only imagine how hard it is to manage a church like this, but it worried me and my husband that many genuine leaders were and still are leaving. Why? Something seems wrong in that area. It would seem that not everyone is Jezebel as I have heard them say so they had to get rid of them. Is that what God really thinks about these people that are gone.We wonder if the pastor really sees in the Spirit at whta she does? I allowed my self to get close to leaders and saw them move in such an anointing but as they grew they were totally removed. It seems that it like a controlling spirit. Doesn't a father know his children's heart let alone their name. Please don't get me wrong. It is a good church but I want to be able to grow and not disappear and no one knows what happened. Or at least told the truth! what does the future hold for me at Faith world is what we should ask. They promise so much and put such demands on the people. I was once told by a prophet woman there, whos is gone, that I could see things in people, I sometimes see chains on people there. So if you are just coming to the Lord it's a good church, but for a future in the Lord, it's unsure. I just became a mom and I want my baby to be greater then me, so I will teach him the foundations and give him room to grow! It's not about how many people we get saved if they are always leaving.

None of the negative reviews are lies of the devil, in fact, some are the plain truth. I used to attend Faithworld before, and am sad to say that it has become unfamiliar to me. There have been many improvements, but I think that the family feel of the church itself is not there. I attended for three years, and although both pastors recognized me, they never made an effort to know my name. Maybe it was simply due to the color of my skin... or possibly because I had no profitable gift for them to exploit (i.e. joining the choir.) The pastor's and some of the members are just plain phonies. I have found more sincere people outside of the church than I have inside.

Wow, where do I begin with being brief but to the point! Faithworld has made an AWSOME impact in my life...down to being a PATIENT, GREAT,AWSOME,FABULOUS MOTHER. An OBIDIENT,FAITHFUL,FEARLESS WOMAN OF GOD!!!

Pastor Daniel and Jennifer Cruz I thank you for your teachings,your patience and your understanding. You guys are such an annointing!

When I first starting going to Faithworld it was just my older sister Lisa and I. Now... its my three sister's,my mother,my soon to be husband Antonio, 4 of our good friends and more to come! WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!!! Were going to the woman's retreat which is my 2nd retreat. DISCOVERY HERE I COME!!! My sister Lisa is comming from New York along with her friend. She wants to share the experience with god! We are soooo excited!

So with all this said I wouldn't change my place of worship,teaching and all that is of OUR LORD for ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD!!!

WHAT A BLESSING!

I remember Faithworld from its inception then called Fun Church. It was a Church built simply upon the premise of winning souls. Discipling them and equipping them to do likewise. Pstr Daniel was still a young man with a Great Big Heart for people. The church grew as everyone expected. Anyone who knows anything knows that with growth comes hardship and resistance. Pstr Daniel should be commended and respected for his perseverance. Unfortunately like most churches and Ministries in the U S A the influence of Christian ENTERTAINMENT Television and others who Believed In the MAN OF GOD Status began to influence his thinking. Unfortunately that type of thinking brings with it no fruit! Where are the 10-15 Churches planted thoughout Chicago and its Suburbs? The Sons and Daughters trained and released into ministry! Where are the Missionaries? Where is the Bible School? No longer is the focus on the Preaching of a PURE Gospel, Healings Miracles signs and wonders ? HOW THE MIGHTY HAVE FALLEN! What is left now is another Big Church With a Big Crowd where the Pstr has Traded in his Big Heart for a Big Head and a Big Ego!

Rev 2:5 Look how far you have fallen from your first Love! Turn Back to me again and work as you did at first.

I believe in Faith world, The hour for change has come! My heart breaks in fear that it will Justify instead of Repent!

Faithworld is amazing. I love it. They have done amazing things in my life and I would totally recommend the church. A couple of people gave negative opinions and I agree with some. Yes, some people are 2faced but if you like the church or not, depends on your purpose for going. I am not going there for people. I'm going there for God. So I don't care of the church has cliques. God is my friend. And not everybody is bad in that church. There are some amazing people. But I went to faithworld for God. and I got it.
And as for the comments on Pastor Daniel's car and the whole tithing thing Just because he is the Pastor doesn't mean he should be living a bad life. God can bless him. God isn't a dead beat dad. He will provide for his child.
And as for him talkin about money so much, well I don't mind. i see the money being put to good use all the time. In the ER production I got saved. I thank God that Pastor Dani pushes us to pay our tithes. If he didn't and people didn't give them then the production may have not been funded. And I could be heading to a life in Hell. I don't mind giving up things I have in my temporary life to provide to save other's eternal life. And they have saved other eternal lives, too. Another pruduction saved my dad and my grandparents.
I love Faithworld. And I think at long as you come with the right mentality you will like it too.

First of all, why is it when we don't agree or understand something the first thing we do is complain or criticize. I myself have been at Faithworld for 6 1/2 years and I can honestly say that my spiritual mother Pastor Jennifer is an awesome women of God. Yes she is a beautiful women and she exhibit the type of class every women should display. Once you allow God to come in and clean up all the mess and junk in your heart, as well as allow God to remove the blinders from your eyes you to will see how awesome Faithworld's First Lady is. You may look at her and call her barbie that's your prerogative. However Jesus calls her, one of his chosen vessel in whom he is well please. Also a word of advice, All of us need to make a commitment to love with our words and to build confidence in others. Every word we speak can be a brick to build with or a bulldozer to destroy. Also, choose your words carefully because according to Matthew 12:36, you will have to account for the idle, thoughtless things you say. Remember, words are containers for power. They carry creative or destructive power and they produce a good harvest or a bad harvest in your life and in the lives of those you love. Finally, Faithworld is an awesome church where there is a biblical foundation being taught. It is a place where the Pastor makes sure when you sit under his teaching you not only here a good message you also get a deeper revelation of the kingdom of God. And he leave you hungry for more.

I have been with Pastor Daniel's ministry since 1992 and Pastor has always been the type of man that has a passion for the lost and a burning desire to encounter God more and more with each passing day. I remember when we use to surprise him for his b-days or pastor appreciation day and I can tell that he just wanted to deliver the word that was bubbling up inside to the people rather than celebrate his b-day or anything else. I remember when Pastor presented us with the mission and the vision that was burning in his heart to reach 500 people, we since gone over that number. Now he is believing God for 5000 and I know God is going to open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon him and his family and guess what his children (that is who we are) because the blessing falls on our spiritual dad and than it falls over us. Pastor Jennifer is awesome she has a heart for the lost as well and a special heart for the women and she pours out into their lives everything that God has pour into her. Pastor Jennifer has corrected me many times and I would not have it any other way, she told me once if you can't be corrected you can't be connected. I have learned to take the papau and move on. She has been and is a blessing in my life and a great example of what a true woman of God should be. They are awesome loving pastors and they care for their flock with love, tenderness, understanding, joy, sorrow because when you hurt they hurt. Our Pastors pray for us and I am sure they have shed tears for us, we only look at the material things. God has bless them with the wonderful things they have because they are givers. Pastor Daniel and Jennifer preach and teach the word of the Lord with power and anointing and the messages they have brought have been life changing for me and I am sure for many. Come to FaithWorld and come with the heart to hear and recieve not from man but from God. Close your eyes lift your hands up and loose yourself in the presence of the Lord at FaithWorld we love to worship so excuse us if we make you feel a little uncomfortable but we love to worship, that is who we are. I attend Faithworld family church and I have never experience the Glory of God like I have at this church. Many people think it's all an act but you know what maybe they just don't really know what God is really about. I love that they don't cover up anything, they are REAL as REAL can be. I have heard many things about the church before I started to come and I came because I wanted to see for myself how fake they were suppose to be, but you know what "I FOUND MY HOME" in Faithworld and I will never leave. If you come and feel nothing at all you are coming with a cold heart because to not feel the love in this people is just not normal in this Church. Thank you Faithworld for opening my eyes to who God really is!!! I Love you..

If you are looking for a Church with a vision and a purpose, you have just found it. Faithworld is a church were you will feel the love of God, Our pastors are passionate to win people to Christ. Come and worship with us.God's vision is our vision that NO ONE WILL PARISH.

I attended this church a few times and found it very UPSETTING. I came in looking for the Bible teachings and found NONE what so ever. There were pepole chating and the kids rowdy and the Pastor told everyone they are welcome to bring their laptops to church. I thought WHAT ARE YOU SAYING??? what about bringing the first and far most important thing you really need YOUR BIBLE. Do not attend this church they only think of them selves and like to put on a show for everyone. In fact the were once called FUN FAMILY CHRISTIAN CENTER or The FUN CHURCH. There are churches in Chicago that DO teach the true GOD not some made up one just to fit your needs. I know this I once attended a church very much like this one and Jesus told me to leave. I am so glad, I did not I have a true chruch home where Jesus is the truth, the way, and the life. Now I do and the church I do attend will not treat Jesus as a sugar daddy. And everyone and anyone who walks in the door is treated with respect no matter who you are or how you look are how much money you have. The church I attend is a true gift from God.

Where do I begin, The Pastors are incredible, the Worship is intense, the Preaching is First class, the people are extremely loving, I mean you get the FULL PACKAGE. The Pastor has been on a Dramatized Sermon that had me weeping and turning back to God like never before.
If your looking for a church that will get you close to God and feed you the meat of God's word visit Faithworld you will not regret it I have not and everyone I have invited has hads the same things to say. I am truly loving it.

Faith World International Church is a church geared toward new believers, so of course a new believers first time experience at any church will naturally come off as being critical. We are critical by nature. I just wanted to say that I am also a newcomer at Faith World and my experiences were nothing but good. I felt at home almost immediately. I am not a new believer, however I have been in the same place as you are right at this very moment. It was only because of faithful family members that I stayed encouraged to attend my old church. New believers, please listen.... You are going to church, tithing, worshipping and fellowshipping out of obeidience to God.. Its not about others or about the presentation. Nobody is perfect! Yes, you pray and ask the Lord if that is where he wants you and pray for fellowship, pray to gaurd your heart amongst how others may look or act to you. Because, again, this church is filled with new believers and they themselves are learning and growing. I promise you that if you make a commitment to God and take a leap of faith by coming out of your comfort zone. I promise you, you will find God. Ultimately, He is what we need to be living you. I pray that your eyes will be open to what God is trying to show you and that this has been a Blessing to you in some way. In Christ's Love.

I attended worship on Tuesday's more than Mass on Sunday's. My first time I did feel a little overwhelmed being new to this type of worship. But came to love the feeling of praising the lord! Yet the people I did not feel comfortable with!
I would hate to use the phrase "2face" but there is no other word that comes to mind. Certain people would greet you but when you attempt to open a door of communication they turn away and stick to the people they already know.So where does that leave me?
As another writer wrote if you do not attend regular worship/mass there is a boundary they build. So what is expected from a new member ?

Do not touch My anointed ones,And do My prophets no harm.

Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven"

First of all there are no perfect churches and if you actually found one and started to attend, it would not be perfect again. I know this church better than anyone you may ever meet, I was on staff there until I moved away. I know Pastor Daniel and Jennifer personally. Their heart is after God's and they want what is best for the people. I may not have agreed with every decision that they made, but I am not the one that has to answer to God, they do. I know that they may seem distant, but with the constant ebb and flow of church hoppers it takes time to get to know them. Put in some time and energy into the church, you will get to know them and a great many others. The other pastors are a great resource. Use them. As for the ones that complained about the "money" issue. They know that you have bills and the best way to pay them is to tithe. It is not for them, it is for you. If you tithe (10%), then God can make a deposit back into your life far greater than that 10%. It is the only reason my family is prosperous. They want you to be blessed you see. Your money is not the source for the church to stay open, God is. Pastor Daniel knows that, he just wants you to be blessed too. As for the Porsche and the Escalade. They have had those cars for years now. It isn't like they are going out and buying a new car every year. Besides they have given far more than you may ever know. My family and I have been to hundreds of churches all across this country. FWIC is for sure one of the best. The music is great, the preaching is dynamic, and above all, the people, contrary to your "review", are real, genuine people, passionate about their faith in Christ. Is Faithworld a Great Church the answer is a definitive YES - A Perfect Church - THERE IS NO SUCH THING.

I go to this church , not for the people but for God. This church has guide me the right direction in my life. There are so many programs, and ministries to get involved with. As for Pastor Jennifer she is a beautiful sweet person. The only recommendation I have , is for them to get more involved with the men at church. Pastor Daniel needs to get involved more with these men , more ministries.As for Jose C, I do not know what church you visited, but I am pretty sure it wasn't Faith World, never have we posted how much money the Church earned on monitors, and there is always someone to welcome you in with a hug when you first walk in. So to all of you with your negativity may God Bless you and work in your lives.

Personally, my experience with Faithworld for the most part was not so great. When I first walked in, I felt somewhat overwhelmed with the chuch setting and tried to fit in. I did not get any greeting, and when I smiled and said "hello," to one of the people they just gave me this funny look and walked on by.
I never had really good experiences with the church crowd in general since most of them can be very judgemental and unkind if you don't come every Sunday to Mass. I wonder what Jesus would have to say if he walked into some of today's churches?
And I think I agree with the comment made about the church being centered on money. I know what the bible says about giving 10 percent to the church, but I remember this lady say after the tithe was taken,'Okay we need some money for the children's church because they need...we need that money soon!' I was a little suprised that they even posted what was collected the week before on the monitors of the church. So, it's a possibility that they may be going overboard with their money-making efforts.
Again, I really tried to keep an open mind, but I guess I just wasn't meant for the church.

This is one church you just have to go check out for yourselves. I personally disagree with the first comment left on here. All churches do the same thing, ask for money that is how they are able to keep it open. This is about tithing which the bible tells us we must do and God wants us to do, if you do not understand it please do not judge it. By the way, how do you know what kind of cars they drive? Another thing, they have in the past explained what they live out of. They have a building and live out of the rent of that building plus profit of money invested. Do not assume they live out of the church because Faithworld has other pastor's there as well and they do not handle the money personally. Get informed before spreading negative rumors. I sure hope you are not a member of this church. On a different note, I love this church, they have an amazing choir, teen church, and the senior pastors are great. They are great leaders and I am so glad to have come across this church. Come check it out for yourselves. If you have a hunger for God and for change come to Faithworld.
