Great hand-made thin crust

While I'm not a fan of the loud sports-bar atmosphere, the pizza is excellent. It can be hard to find a great thin-crust pizza in Chicago and this is it. Hand-tossed crust, fresh generous sauce, good toppings. The kicker is that if it's your birthday, they'll bring you some massive chocolate desserts without even asking for them. At least they did for us. Good stuff.

Modeled after a pizza joint in New Haven, CT, Piece beings it's unique pizza style to Wicker Park. You choose sauce and cheese options and add topping which range from traditional to artisanal to down right weird. They have lots of micro-brews to choose from, including their own, at reasonable prices. Lots of tvs make for fun sports watching but a loud bar area. The front windows open wide to make this a great early summer or early fall spot for sure.
PROS: great food, hard to find beers
CONS: can get loud, long wait at times

This place is NOT WORTH IT!! A group of 8 came to Chicago for some good food and fun! We went in an was told an hour, which turned into 2 and 1/2 hours. We spent well over $300 and the pizza wasn't that great, and the management did nothing for us for waiting well over an hour and a half for our quote time.. In fact, he made our experience about 1000 times worse. If you have time and money to waste, this is your restaurant! I will never ever step foot in that place called "Piece" again.

Piece serves their pizza in a rectangle. You can choose from traditional tomato sauce-based options or go for more gourmet ingredients, such as spinach and garlic in a white sauce. The beer selection is outstanding, and service has always been above average. It's a great place!

Piece has a remarkable selection of unusual beers, best among the Delirium Tremens. The pizzas are a very good size and just about the best thing you can imagine. The mixed green salad, too, is surprisingly good.
PROS: Great food and drinks, lots of big TVs for sports fans
CONS: A bit noisy
