when someone craves coffee the first place that comes to mind is dunkin donuts or starbucks, but when it comes to iced coffee everyone should give thai oscar a shot at their iced coffee. There is some coconut milk in it that makes it just right on the sweetness.

Whenever I crave sushi I often crave thai food and vice-versa. I've been going to Thai Oscar for about 6 years now and everything is always wonderful. Their food are in good portions at a good price. I also enjoy their thai drinks, especially their thai iced coffee. The menu is pretty extensive, and I've always been satisfied with my thai dishes [I've never ordered Japanese dishes]. My boyfriend is especially found of their curry dishes. This is a great restaurant so you should check them out! Oh, they also have BYOB which I know makes a lot of people happy!

This Lincoln Square restaurant is one of the many Thai eateries in the area -- but it is my favorite. The food is always tasty and fresh, whether you order the pad thai or the spider maki. Because it is BYOB, this is a great place to go when you want a good, inexpensive meal with your favorite drinks. The restaurant is always fairly quiet, so it is a nice place to chat with friends. Check out their lunch specials! Carry-out is very good as well.

Pros: great food, great variety

The combination of tasty Thai food and sushi works really well here. The guy at the sushi bar will whip up something conventional or creative. I'd recommend sticking with familiar kinds of maki, but try a funky roll if you're in the mood (I've had mixed results sampling something new each time.) The tempura is decent and makes a great appetizer. Oh yeah, and the Thai food is as good as any of the more well-known places in the neighborhood. The waitstaff is always friendly and fast and seem to appreciate return customers. And, I love returning to Thai Oscar! Try it the next time you walk by the other more crowded spots on Western.

This is a hole in the wall gem. Very good thai food. The sushi was not bad. Service was good. Food was very affordable. Great place to go if you want some good food without a crowd!
